Angus & Friends Angus & Friends is a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Castro Valley, CA dedicated to helping feral cats.

Angus & Friends Cat Rescue is a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2022. Angus & Friends works collaboratively with other groups to do Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and to find loving homes for as many stray cats and kittens as possible. We are passionate about the cats, and about educating the public about ways to help the cats and kittens that cross their paths with the goal of reducing the numbers

of community cats on the streets. Our organization is dedicated to the memory of Angus, a 15-year-old orange tabby who was found on death's door by people who lived in his neighborhood who assumed he had a home. He didn't, but probably did at one time, because he turned out to be friendly, though very sick. Efforts were made to save him, but he ultimately had to be put down because he was not recovering after a blood transfusion due to flea anemia. Our goal is to help as many homeless cats and kittens as possible to get off the mean streets and place them in new loving, furrever homes.

FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED: Felicia was a teenage young mom who was sick and very thin when we brought her inside. Unfortunately, because she was sick, we had to separate her from her kittens. This is a hard thing for any mom, but the kittens have thrived under the care of a great foster.

Felicia is now much healthier, is fixed, vaccinated and microchipped, but is still a bit skittish. She is definitely showing great signs of being a very playful little girl! Felicia needs someone with time to play with her and to get her through "finishing school." She will likely do best as an only kitty with a single person, or a young couple with another young cat, perhaps an older male kitten to help her feel more comfortable around humans.

Felicia is a very cute tortie with lots of tortitude! Once she bonds with you and feels comfortable in her new environment, she will definitely be an adorable addition to your family.

Meet Clementine 🍊 and Geoffrey 🐾 — two adorable young kitties who are looking for a foster home TOGETHER! 💕🏡

Sadly, they were left behind in an apartment, but they’re now safe in temporary foster care. Their foster mom says they’re incredibly sweet, affectionate, and absolutely love having each other for comfort. 😻

These two are young, already spayed/neutered, and ready to enjoy the best kind of summer — one filled with love, cuddles, and a safe place to call home! 🌴☀️💕

Born around July 2024, Lady is a gorgeous striped tabby with a white belly and an adorable black-and-gray ringed tail. She was rescued after living on her own outdoors and is now safe, happy, and thriving in her foster home.

Lady loves summertime play sessions, especially chasing little balls around her cozy bed and pouncing on her favorite fish wand toy. 🎣🐱

Born around the end of March 2025, I’m a handsome little heartthrob with plenty of personality. I’m playful, cuddly, and absolutely love attention, pets, and snuggles. I may not be singing “Love Me Tender,” but I’ll definitely melt your heart! ❤️

Want to make a difference for community cats but don’t have a lot of time? We’d love to have you join the Angus & Friends family! 🐱❤️

We’re looking for volunteer feeders in the Hayward area:

📍 West Winton: Fridays and/or Saturdays
📍 Manon: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and/or Saturdays

✨ You can commit to just ONE day—or help with ALL the days that work for you! Every bit of help makes a difference.

⏰ The commitment is less than an hour per day and is a wonderful, hands-on way to give back to our community and help make sure our outdoor kitties are fed and cared for. 🐾🍽️
