The team tackled the Strobridge 580W exit, Norbridge road, and up Stanton. Collecting 32 bags of litter and sundry items from the freeway's side.

Giving HUGE LOVE to all the volunteers who came out to clean! It heals the soul to see lands cleared and room given for new greenery that will sprout from recent rains.

Our next cleaning planned for November the 7th, at Dragonfly park, and we invite you to join us in this ongoing movement to keep the lands around us litter free.

Join us here: https://www.forestr.org/gig/

Norbridge road got special attention this weekend and it is so wonderful to drive the west side of the road and see it transformed through simply removing litter.

If you can not join us, send your support: https://www.forestr.org/donate/

Every donation keeps Forestrs focused on our mission. Cleaning, greening, and gleaning the world around us.

BREAKING NEWS: Fremont Gleaning Program Is Live!
https://www.forestr.org/fremont-gleans/

A huge welcome to Lin Rong, the new Fremont gleaning lead.

Fremont Gleans exists to return unclaimed and unused fruit from our neighborhoods’ backyard trees to the Fremont community.

Share the bounty of your tree here: https://www.forestr.org/fremont-gleans/community-donor/

By connecting generous tree owners with volunteers, we turn surplus harvests into fresh, healthy food for local food pantries, senior centers, and family shelters.

New Mid-October article: Doomscrolling: When staying informed becomes overwhelming is now available in the Forestr Healthy Hub: https://www.forestr.org/forestrs/

Doomscrolling can start with the simple desire to know what’s happening, but spending too much time consuming negative content can leave you feeling anxious, overwhelmed and powerless. Learning to recognize the habit and creating healthier boundaries around news and social media can help you stay informed without letting scrolling take over your day.
