S'mores was a beloved seasonal cat. Although she was cherished by her human, she was left in someone's care when her human returned north. Her human kept watch through videos but was unable to bring her along. After a period of concern, her human arranged for her to be taken to our sanctuary. S'mores settled in nicely. Lately, a dear friend of her previous owner decided to adopt her and traveled far to bring her home. S'mores is now happy and thriving with a cat and dog companion.

Our long-time contractor, Mexiquillo Landscape and Hardscape, Inc., has successfully installed new flooring in two additional rooms within the Special Needs Unit. The project was completed efficiently and with meticulous care to accommodate our resident cats. Notably, our newest resident, Ducky, is already enjoying his new surroundings.
