First-gen college graduate 🎓✨💜⚓️

There were moments when this journey felt overwhelming…moments where I questioned if I could really do it when no one before me had completed this journey. But through faith, courage, hard work, and so much support, we made it!

I am so incredibly honored to be an East Carolina University Alumna, having studied Journalism and Political Science. I wouldn’t be here without my parents’ unwavering support every step of the way. So thank you mom and dad—and thank you to my family who came to watch me walk the stage!

To all of the graduates this year, especially my fellow first-generation graduates…congratulations!!! This accomplishment is so special! We did it!!

Happy Mothers Day to my beautiful mother and sisters💓

My mom is the definition of grace, kindness, and strength. She meets no strangers, loves people deeply, and has the biggest servant’s heart of anyone I know.

No matter the stage, audience, or season of life, I have never had to wonder if she would show up to support and cheer me on—because she always has.

She has paved her own way, creating opportunities not only for herself, but for those around her—especially me and my family.

I can only hope to be half the woman she is one day. Thank you for encouraging me to follow my dreams and showing me what it means to work hard, love others well, and never give up. I am endlessly grateful to call you my mom. 🤍

Happy LDOC to most of the college students around NC today!! I know this is a bittersweet day for so many seniors, including myself.🎓

My time in college has been filled with so many amazing memories, accomplishments, challenges, and moments that have shaped me into the person I am today.

As a first-generation college graduate, this milestone means more than I can put into words. It represents hard work, sacrifice, faith, and the support of so many people who believed in me along the way—especially my parents.

I am also incredibly grateful for the Miss America Opportunity and the scholarship dollars that have helped make my education possible. This organization has not only given me a crown and a title, but confidence and real support as I worked toward my degree.

The classes are done and now it’s time for finals! Good luck to all!!💜💛

I had the best time emceeing the Miss East Carolina University Pageant today!💜💛☠️👑

It was definitely full circle to be back as a senior at ECU, as I had the honor of serving as Vice-President of the organization ( ) last year and the mistress of ceremonies the year before that!

I am so proud of Mya Mixon on an incredible year representing Pirate Nation and working hard in the community.

A huge congratulations to the new , Camryn Dilday!! I know you will represent Greenville and ECU with pride and honor!

It was an incredible morning celebrating the Willie Stargell Foundation at their 7th Annual 5K💙⭐️⚾️ I was able to kick off the race with the national anthem and hand out medals as the runners crossed the finish line!

Willie Stargell was an incredible person on and off the field. He played for 21 years with the , was a 2 time World Series Champion, and a 1988 Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee. He unfortunately passed away from Kidney Disease in 2001 but his legacy and memory has not been forgotten.

The Willie Stargell Foundation supports programs focusing on kidney disease research, patient care, and works to ease the financial burden of medical costs for patients facing kidney disease. This cause is so incredible and I am so glad I got to be a small part of this event!

North Carolina Azalea Festival Patrons Gala🖤🐆🌸

It was so bittersweet to end the North Carolina Azalea Festival, but a beautiful way to do it at the Cape Fear Country Club! It felt like we stepped right into the jungle and got to dance the night away!

I loved being able to welcome and talk to supporters and patrons of the festival. These connections are priceless and some even got to know more about my initiative, Heart Set! I’m looking forward to growing these connections in the future!

I loved being able to perform and participate in a community meet and greet at the street fair after the parade!
Fun fact: I have been performing at the street fair since I was 5 years old, but something about this time was so special! (Scroll for some throwbacks!)
This took place on the multi cultural stage where performers of all backgrounds and cultures perform! It truly was so full circle to do this alongside new best friends as Miss Wilmington🩷🌟

Not only were the days at North Carolina Azalea Festival packed with amazing events, but the nights were just as unforgettable! I had such a blast seeing Dustin Lynch and Lil Jon in concert with my sisters, our escorts, and the NC Azalea Festival Princess Court—not to mention at my favorite concert venue EVER—Live Oak Pavilion!

Some of my favorite moments are when we can all let loose and just be our authentic selves together. Between the concerts and all the fun throughout the week, we truly created memories, and bonds, that will last a lifetime!

A night fit for a Queen 🪩✨🕺
Dancing with so many little girls, laughing, and embracing sisterhood through pageantry was such a blast! I even took to the floor to sing Dancing Queen to really get the party started!
