Yesterday and today were all about youth supporting youth! 💛🖤

Members of our Youth 1Direction Prevention Coalition, in partnership with Hope Squad, traveled to San Rafael Middle School yesterday and Canyon View Middle School today to distribute SafeUT/988 pins and remind younger students that help is always available and they are never alone. Students who received a pin were also entered into prize drawings, with prizes donated by 1Direction Prevention Coalition and the Hope Squad of Carbon, Emery, and Grand Counties

We believe there is something especially powerful about youth teaching and supporting younger youth. Thank you to the principals and counselors at SRMS, CVMS, and Emery High School for supporting our students and making opportunities like this possible!

And today ended with an unexpected act of kindness. ❤️ After our CVMS visit, I took the youth to Ponderosa Grill for lunch, where we happened to run into Senator Hinkins. He came over to meet the students, thanked them for the good work they are doing in our community, and then graciously paid for lunch for our entire group! What a wonderful surprise and a great way to recognize these youth for giving their time to help others.

We are so proud of our youth and the positive difference they are making! 💛🖤

You matter. You are not alone. Help is always available.
