Two days of cultural learning, sharing, laughter and great food. Xa Kako Dile: was honored to be invited to Pinoleville Pomo Nation Cultural family campout again this year. U’ilani did yarn lei making and shared dried and fresh Topo topo (golden berries).

On August 4th at 5pm Pacific, the Bay Area Climbers Coalition will facilitate a virtual conversation about the unique cultural and ecological significance of sacred lands in Lisjan Ohlone territory (Berkeley, CA) that are also known for climbing: Indian Rock and Mortar Rock parks. Our speaker is Corrina Gould, the director of the Sogorea Te Land Trust and tribal spokesperson for the Confederated Villages of Lisjan.

Filmmakers from California based tribes: Apply to the Graton Artist Opportunity, which serves to cultivate a stage for artists from federally and non-federally recognized California Indian tribes to tell their stories through film. Artists will receive access to curated courses from the Sundance Collab platform. Supported by the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria. Deadline: July 31.
