Meet Genna Gallaher!

Originally from northern Minnesota, I now call Kansas home, where my family and I own and operate Gallaher Ranch, training cutting horses, cowhorses and rope horses. We also enjoy raising bucking bulls. Horses have been at the center of my life from an early age, giving me firsthand experience with the dedication, sacrifice, and passion that come with this lifestyle. Throughout my lifetime, I've had the privilege of showing western pleasure, all-around, over fences, and hunter under saddle, I have enjoyed loping and preparing horses for some of the industry's premier events, including the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity and the AQHA World Championship Show and NCHA Triple Crown events. These aren't simply competitions to me-they're where lifelong relationships are built and excellence is celebrated. My background extends far beyond the show pen. I've shown horses across the United States and Canada, worked for a respected reining horse trainer throughout college, represented Purina in outside sales after college, photographed, filmed and marketed performance horses, enjoyed working as a riding instructor at the historic Saddle & Sirloin Club in Kansas City; coaching youth and amateur exhibitors at shows, was an accredited judge, and managed public stallion services. Each experience has provided a unique perspective on the risks, responsibilities, and opportunities that horse owners and
equine professionals face every day. Outside of the horse industry, you'll most often find me enjoying time outdoors with my family-fishing, traveling, and cooking and cheering my kids on at their events. I've always believed that life's greatest gifts are found in good
old horses, good old dogs, and good people.

Hey everyone! I am Breanna Lathrop and I am returning for another term as Vice President for the Heart of America Association. At the shows you can find me literally running everywhere from having a groom tote to managing office technology problems. I have most recently gotten back into the show horse world and have started dabbling in the english equitation. Otherwise you will find me running barrel horses and enjoying rodeo events.
I am looking forward to keeping excitement going and continuing to hear the voices of the members and what they are wanting to show in!

Dylan Foreman has been a board member for a couple years. He is on the VRH show committee and the sponsorship committee. When not helping at shows, he is operating Crooked Cactus Construction and training horses at GauxPro Performance Horses. He prefers to work with rope horses, cutters and cow horses.

Welcome Mary DuMond to the board!

Hey there! I’m Mary DuMond and I have called Southwest Missouri my home for most of my life. When I’m not doing horse-related activities, I love to spend time with my two poodles and enjoy traveling with my Husband. I’m a lifelong horsewoman. Cleaning stalls, working the show office, and everything in between, I’ve always enjoyed being involved in the horse industry however I can be. I have had some incredible opportunities to be immersed in the AQHA all-around and ranch horse show world, and I’ve recently started showing cutting horses at NCHA weekend events. I purchased my first cutting horse earlier this year, and I’m hooked!

I have a heart for people and horses, as well as a passion for collaborating and expanding on a vision. I love seeing people chase their dreams, and I know shows, like the ones Heart Of America Horse Association produces, make a significant impact on the future of the industry. I’m excited to play whatever role I can to make sure exhibitors feel welcome, appreciated, informed, and excited! Growing the club and creating the best show experience possible are top priorities.
