📣 Rotary Club of Etowah Speaker Spotlight 📣

Tomorrow, we are honored to welcome Major Jessica Pruett, E-911 Division Director for the Bartow County Sheriff's Office, as our featured speaker.

Major Pruett leads the dedicated team responsible for answering and coordinating emergency calls across Bartow County 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Her commitment to public safety, innovation, and service has made a lasting impact on our community.

🏆 In 2024, Major Pruett was recognized as Georgia's Communications Director of the Year, one of the highest honors in emergency communications, awarded by APCO and NENA.

Beyond her leadership in emergency communications, she has championed community-focused initiatives that help first responders better serve individuals with autism and sensory processing challenges. She also recently completed the State of Georgia's Peer Counselor Certification Program, further strengthening support for public safety professionals during critical incidents.

Join us as Major Pruett shares insights into the vital role of E-911, the challenges facing emergency communications today, and how innovative partnerships are helping keep Bartow County safe.

🚓📞 Every call matters. Every second counts. Every response begins with a voice on the other end of the line.

We look forward to an informative and inspiring program.

Starting April 24, the Rotary Club of Etowah joins communities around the world in recognizing World Immunization Week—a time to highlight the life-saving power of vaccines.

Through decades of commitment, Rotary International has played a leading role in advancing global health—most notably in the fight to eradicate Polio.

Immunizations save millions of lives each year, protecting children, families, and entire communities from preventable diseases. It’s one of the most effective ways we can build a healthier, stronger world.

We are proud to stand with partners across the globe to ensure that every child has access to life-saving vaccines.
