DOG LIVING IN A BOX FOR 1 YEAR!!!!

Union County Sheriff’s Office:
386-496-2501 Neighbor reported months ago the authority said nothing can be done.
From witness below...
For at least one year I have watched this poor dog being held prisoner in this wooden box. I never once have seen this dog out of this box. He has almost no protection from the rain, cold or hot sun and sleeps in his own p**s and s**t. My neighbor actually called the Sherriff this past winter because the dog was suffering in freezing temperature and the owners finally put a heat lamp shining brightly into the dogs' face as it tried to sleep all night. The sheriff's at that time said they couldn't take the dog because of the owners' "lifestyle choices" to perpetually keep this dog in a box, as long as it got food and water, they wouldn't help. I have also seen other dogs these owners have at their side and on the porch while this dog looks out from its box. I cannot physically help this dog. I have housecats in a small apt and the lease is no dogs. Even if I spoke to the owners about surrendering the dog, I have nowhere to keep him. So, I am seeking anyone, any rescue, who can help get the owners to surrender this poor dog and find an actual home for him instead of a scorching box in the sun. The address where the dog is housed: 11839 SW 42nd St Lake Butler, 32054. The dog, address and everything can be seen from the road
