The Kris Kelly Foundation We at The Kris Kelly Foundation embrace "Humanity" and we give dignity and a voice to the animals that do not have one! We are a 501c3 organization since 2006.

When Kris Kelly was in 5th grade she read a book for a book report about an old lady and an old horse. They were friends and spent a lot of time together. Kris remembers her teacher asking her over and over "Why do you think they are such good friends"....as Kris was talking her teacher kept saying "Keep talking...keep talking". Kris finally said "Because they are BOTH lonely and need each other".

The teacher gave her a big smile and then an A on her oral book report. That scene has run through Kris's mind over the years. She didn't know what would come of this memory that she couldn't shake. As she grew older she developed a yearning to have the elderly, animals, and children work together. The Kris Kelly Foundation is an animal rescue organization that embraces the elderly and children (that includes teenagers). People have to understand that they have to live with the animals and animals NEED people. We all need each other. We are all one and together we can all help the ones in need heal. There are a lot of lonely souls that are in need of healing and The Kris Kelly Foundation is here to find those souls and then heal them. Souls come in all ages, sizes, skin colors, fur, skin, and races. We embrace everyon e. Whatever costume you wear on your journey in this life underneath the costume is a being that is full of love.

RESCUE DOG IS CONFUSED
WHY DID YOU PUT ME IN THE GARAGE???

Where are all the fosters?
Brownie is in Orange County

He was doing so well in the home but one of their dogs is aggressive and Brownie is so kind and gentle. 2 years old and just neutered.

Kris if I can't find a foster he has to go to the shelter. The garage is awful for him. No rescue is helping.

HIT, YELLED at, TICKS, TONS of FLIES, NO FOOD or WATER!

Hi Kris I was told to contact you about a bad situation. I've already called the San Bernardino Animal Shelter and they have done nothing to help these dogs. These 2 dogs are outside 24/7 with no shelter. No food or water. TICKS all over their body! They are HIT and YELLED at constantly! I spoke with Geraldine Torres but she didn't help. I need someone to speak out for these dogs...nobody is listening to me!!

Hi Kris,
There are at least 3 dogs on this property, they are always crying. They are distress and hungry cries. I believe they are all sick and injured but unfortunately I can’t get a good view of them. The white one looks like he has a wound on his back and some chronic ear and skin infections. I’m sure they are also underweight you just can’t tell by are their fur. They’ve been living like this for years tied up to this terrible dog houses. The other dog seems to be wedged or kept between a shed and chain link fence. Can only see the animals through the back alley.
Carson Animal has been contacted and they are going to do a welfare check. My hope is that they will be confiscated and someone will see this post and be able to help them by giving them a home. The address is 1262 W. 97th St LA, Ca 90044

Hi Kris BIG issue with somebody shooting bow and arrows at squirrels and possums/wildlife in Huntington Beach at Harbor Pacific condominiums. Somebody mentioned to forward it to your foundation to possibly bring more attention to the matter.

From witness below...
For at least one year I have watched this poor dog being held prisoner in this wooden box. I never once have seen this dog out of this box. He has almost no protection from the rain, cold or hot sun and sleeps in his own p**s and s**t. My neighbor actually called the Sherriff this past winter because the dog was suffering in freezing temperature and the owners finally put a heat lamp shining brightly into the dogs' face as it tried to sleep all night. The sheriff's at that time said they couldn't take the dog because of the owners' "lifestyle choices" to perpetually keep this dog in a box, as long as it got food and water, they wouldn't help. I have also seen other dogs these owners have at their side and on the porch while this dog looks out from its box. I cannot physically help this dog. I have housecats in a small apt and the lease is no dogs. Even if I spoke to the owners about surrendering the dog, I have nowhere to keep him. So, I am seeking anyone, any rescue, who can help get the owners to surrender this poor dog and find an actual home for him instead of a scorching box in the sun. Today (6/15/26 @ 10am) I saw these two dogs confined in a small crate. The smaller dog’s private part looks extremely swollen! She also seems to be injured from her rear leg. They are stepping on their p**p and looks malnourished, you can see both their ribs 😔 I already made a report. But if you can please share this so more people can call 🙏🏽

WTF LAPD????
What the hell is going on??
We ask you to go out for abuse and hoarding cases and you do nothing but you go to a noise complaint for a doodle with all these officers and kill a kind dog???
MAKE IT MAKE SENSE TO ME!!!!!
Does anyone know who these people are? The address? Which precinct was called? Badge numbers??

From EHnoter...LAPD killed her dog. He was wearing his Knicks jersey.

His name was Jameson. A golden doodle. One of the sweetest, most gentle breeds alive. He wasn’t dangerous. He wasn’t a threat. He was a family dog celebrating a championship with his owner and her child.

A neighbor called a noise complaint. That’s it.

20+ officers showed up. Then a helicopter. For a noise complaint in an apartment complex.

And they shot Jameson dead. In front of his owner. In front of her child.

No warning. No de-escalation. Nothing.

DOG CAGED FOR YEARS!
Good afternoon, Miss Kris,
I am hoping you might be able to help with a situation involving animal welfare. There is a dog that has been confined in a very small area for YEARS! They built a cage around him and it's hard to see him but I hear him cry when I walk by. I have already contacted animal control but unfortunately, I have not received any help or resolution. I was wondering if you can help bring attention to this situation by sharing the information.
