Professional Career Day is more than just an event — it’s an opportunity to open doors, build confidence, and show up as your best self.

We’re hosting a Professional Attire & Scrubs Drive to support job seekers and healthcare professionals in need of interview‑ready outfits and workwear. Collection will take place at Magic Johnson Park at 11:00 a.m., before the start of the event.

Please only bring clean, gently used items in good condition — no stains, rips, holes, or excessive wear. Suits, blazers, dress shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, closed‑toe shoes, accessories, and nursing scrubs are all welcome.

Your donation can be the reason someone walks into their next interview or first day on the job feeling prepared and confident. Will you help us dress our community for success?

.squared20 is the definition of Black Girl Magic – a Nigerian‑American biology student at UCLA using her brilliance to transform menstrual and mental health access for marginalized communities. At just 19, she founded PERIOD PADI, already supporting over 22,000 youths with the menstrual, mental, and financial resources they deserve. She is a living example of excellence in action, honored with recognitions like the Diana Award, Chegg Global Scholar, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and Accenture features. Soon, she’ll be standing among other extraordinary women at Professional Career Day, inspiring every young girl in the room to know that her magic, too, can change the world. ✨ if you haven’t RSVP, the cut off is tomorrow❤️

Meet Kharissa Darden— a gifted dancer, musician, and advocate whose dedication to the arts and academic excellence continue to inspire. From performing with purpose to choreographing, speaking, and breaking barriers, Kharissa embodies what it means to lead with passion and excellence.

We’re excited to watch her do what she loves at Professional Career Day, and even more excited to hear her share what it takes to turn talent, discipline, and vision into impact. Her journey is a powerful reminder that the arts are not only a gift, but a calling. .space
