DFW Labrador-lovers….We have a fantastic dog sitting in foster care, just waiting for someone to pick him.

Could that someone PLEASE be you?!

Meet Ollie 💙, a Labrador Retriever with the sweetest soul, a gentle personality, and a whole lot of love to give.

He is vaccinated, neutered, friendly and absolutely loves other dogs. His ideal home would have a dog friend for him in it. So if your dog needs a new bestie, Ollie could be a great match!

Ollie started out as a stray in South Texas. Life was about survival, and he had no idea what it meant to have a family of his own. Thanks to an amazing foster home and Cane Rosso Rescue, he’s gotten to experience a second chance at the good life. And he’s absolutely thriving.

He’s gentle. He’s wonderful. He LOVES other dogs. Honestly, he’s a 10/10 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ kind of dog , and we’d love nothing more than to see him find his people.

Ollie is ready for his forever family. Let’s make it happen!

💙Ollie
4.5 years
Labrador retriever

🛑 TRANSPORT IS THIS FRIDAY— October 16th, arriving at 5pm-7pm.

This is a set day and time. There is no flexibility. We have ONE shot to get them on a transport headed to DFW. If we can’t, they will be dropped at a local shelter and that would break our hearts.

We must have a committed foster home for EACH girl.

🙏 WHAT WE NEED TO SAVE THEM:

• Two foster homes in DFW

• Starting THIS FRIDAY, October 16th

We saved him. We fought for him. We cheered him on. And now? It’s time for Knox to find his people.

At just 1.5 years old, this Pointer/Lab mix has already survived some serious medical issues.

Cane Rosso Rescue worked tirelessly with his foster and our vet to get him healthy and ready and he’s made it!

He fought hard to get here, and now he’s finally ready for what every dog deserves: a family of his own.

And trust us, this boy has a LOT of love to give.

Knox is a such character: silly, funny, full of personality and love. He adores people and other dogs and would be the best dog to add to any home. He really likes to play with toys and he’s pure joy to be around.

You won’t meet a sweeter, more loving boy than Knox.

Have you ever met a dog and just known he’s something special? 🩷

That’s Buddy. He’s available for adoption with Cane Rosso Rescue.

Buddy came from a home where he was loved. He was part of a family. He had a home and people of his own. And then, through no fault of his own, life changed. Personal circumstances meant Buddy’s world was turned upside down, and he had absolutely no say in any of it.

Now he’s a rescue dog, and we’re looking for the next chapter of his story. The one where he gets to settle in, feel safe, and be someone’s dog again. The one where he doesn’t have to start over another time.

Buddy deserves that. He deserves a family who sees how special he is and gives him the love and stability every dog deserves.

💙Buddy
German Wirehaired Pointer

Potty trained
48 lbs
Good with other dogs and lived with one in home
Good with kids!
Vaccinated and heartworm negative

🤨 Okay, people. We’re very confused. We need to talk…..

Cane Rosso Rescue has a GORGEOUS chocolate German Shorthaired Pointer available for adoption, and we cannot figure out why nobody is interested in her. Seriously…WHAT GIVES?!

Maple is beautiful. She’s SUPER dog-friendly. She’s even been going to doggy daycare and she’s had a blast! She is spayed and vaccinated. We’ve done it all for her!

This girl is out here making friends, checking all the boxes everyone asks for, and STILL…..nobody is lining up to meet her.

We had one meet and greet scheduled and they canceled. And since then? Crickets. 🦗

Listen, we love saving dogs, but here is the hard reality….we can’t keep saying YES to the next dog in need if nobody is saying YES to adopting the dogs already in our care.

🙏 So please, share this post. Tag your GSP-loving friends. Send it to the person who has been talking about getting another dog, Maple would be an amazing companion for any dog.

Let’s get this girl out of the rescue rotation and ADOPTED!

Available for adoption: meet Monroe. 🩷

10 months old, Golden Retriever/Labrador mix, ridiculously cute, dog-friendly, and ready to find her people. What’s not to love?!

Monroe found herself without a home after her family lost their housing. Thankfully, a foster stepped up, and this girl got the chance to land somewhere safe with Cane Rosso Rescue instead of ending up in an overcrowded shelter.

Now she’s settling in and discovering that couches are amazing, treats are the way to her heart, toys are meant to be played with, and having other dogs around is pretty great!

Monroe LOVES other dogs and has been fantastic with her foster friends. A dog sibling would be a big bonus for this girl, giving her a buddy to play with and learn from as she grows in confidence.

She can be a little shy at first, preferring to hang back and take everything in before jumping into the action. And that’s okay! She’s had some big changes in her short life, and she deserves the time and space to figure things out.
