New Hope is a Carroll, Iowa, based non-profit dedicated to enriching the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

New Hope offers both residential and vocational services to adults with disabilities in a variety of services. Here, individuals are treated with respect and dignity, given the chance to fulfill their dreams, discover new opportunity and enjoy an atmosphere with caring support. Individuals served include a variety of adults whose independent living, employment, personal, social or functional development is challenged by an intellectual disability, developmental disability and/or brain injury. The variety of programs at New Hope enables clients to live with purpose and self-fulfillment, and to acquire and maintain the skills necessary for personal growth. Each person served has an individualized program based on his/her needs. New Hope does just what the name promises — offers "new hope" and enhances the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Individuals from our campus recently enjoyed a trip to the bowling alley filled with smiles and encouragement for one another. It was a great day to get out, spend time with friends, and make some fun memories together! 💙

As New Hope prepares to celebrate our 50th anniversary in Feb. 2027, two members of our facilities team gave the original sign in front of our Activity Building a fresh look. After a thorough power washing and careful repainting of the lettering, this piece of New Hope history is ready to welcome visitors for years to come!

A special thank-you to our maintenance and custodial team members for taking pride in our campus and helping prepare for this exciting milestone. The mission behind it remains strong for the next 50 years! 💙

At New Hope, we love celebrating the team members who go above and beyond, and the 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙍𝙤𝙘𝙠 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙮 is one of our favorite ways to do just that! Presented at our monthly Supervisor Meetings, this award recognizes staff who are making a meaningful impact.

✨𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐋𝐮𝐱 is always welcoming, helpful, and willing to find a way to make things work. He supports employees and individuals throughout his day and understands the important role he plays at New Hope.
✨ 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐤𝐞 stepped into the CFO role with determination, positivity and a willingness to learn. Her leadership and commitment are helping New Hope grow and move forward.
✨ 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐧 brings invaluable experience, dedication, and knowledge to New Hope. She is dependable, approachable, kind and always willing to support others.

One of the best parts of our Wheelchair Car Wash was seeing individuals and employees laugh, play, and enjoy the experience together. Whether they were washing wheels, spraying water, or running through the rainbow rinse, everyone joined in! 😍 🫧𝘼 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 💦🌈
Some of the sweetest moments from our Wheelchair Car Wash were shared with family - and people who feel like family. 💙Two moms joined their sons for fun, helping to wash, rinse, and, of course, get in on the splashing! We loved having them with us, making memories. Our Wheelchair Car Wash quickly turned into an all-out water-gun fight—and no one was safe! Individuals and staff sprayed and splashed their way through the afternoon. After rolling into our Wheelchair Car Wash, staff helped wash and rinse individuals' chairs, with a few friendly water battles mixed in! Warm water, water guns and cups made it easy for everyone to join the fun. 🚗💦 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧 𝘾𝙖𝙧 𝙒𝙖𝙨𝙝!
Our campus individuals rolled through the “car wash,” got their wheels sparkling clean, and enjoyed plenty of bubbles, water, and fun along the way. From our pool-noodle brushes to the rainbow rinse at the finish, this was one car wash we won’t soon forget! And just like a real car wash, things got a little splashy!
