From serving as California’s first Latina Surgeon General to advancing maternal health, preventive care, and health equity on a national scale, Dr. Ramos has dedicated her career to improving the health of women, families, and underserved communities.

Her leadership across ACOG, the Women’s Preventive Services Initiative, and California’s public health system continues to shape more equitable, evidence-based care across the country.
