KIDS WHO CARE STUDENTS INSPIRING AND ENCOURAGING EACH OTHER IN THEIR SCHOOLS, THEIR COMMUNITIES, AND BEYOND. We would love for you to join us on this journey.

KIDS WHO CARE was started by sisters Chloe and Isabel and their friend and neighbor Ella. On a cold weekend in March of 2022 the girls spent time baking and thought it would be fun to sell their baked goods to friends and family in our neighborhood. That first day they came home with $22, and we started brainstorming about some kind things they could do with the money that they had made. The girls decided the best way to give back would be to help kids in our own community who might need food, clothing, hygiene products, or just some extra encouragement. As the year went on both Chloe and Isabel were able to set up a KIDS WHO CARE booth at local events. They raised close to $500.00 and collected hundreds of hygiene products, backpacks, and water bottles to donate to our local school and to kids in our community. They were also able to purchase Christmas gifts and non-perishable food items for kids in need with the money they raised as well. This has been a great year of growth and learning and we can’t wait to invite more people to join our kindness movement and help more kids in even greater ways. If you are local get involved: we will post updates regarding community service projects or fundraisers that we’re working on, or you can always donate online as Kids Who Care is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. If you’ve already been part of the KIDS WHO CARE journey by donating hygiene products, food, or funds we want to say THANK YOU. We appreciate you more than you know, and we’re excited about all of the wonderful ways we are going to be able to reach out and help kids in our school, our community and beyond.

Attention Wagar Middle School Parents & Students!

Our first Kids Who Care meeting of the year is TOMORROW!

🗓 Tuesday, October 6
⏰ 2:30–3:30 PM
📍 Wagar Middle School

There is no need to sign up in advance! If your student would like to participate, they can simply stay after school and join us.

This will be our first meeting of the season as we kick off another great year of Kids Who Care!

Pickup: We will plan for parents to pick students up at 3:30 PM in the front of the school near the offices.

We’re so excited to get another year started and can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!

See You at the Pole 2026 🤍🙏🏻

Yesterday, students at Airport High School and Wagar Middle School gathered for See You at the Pole, and what an amazing morning it was!

More than 40 students gathered at the high school and another 40+ at the middle school, bringing us close to 100 students altogether who showed up early to pray together. Parents and teachers joined in as well.

It was a beautiful morning of faith and community as we prayed over our schools, our students, our teachers and staff, and the school year ahead.

So thankful for every student, parent, and teacher who woke up early and made the effort to be there. Seeing so many of our students come together in faith and prayer for their schools was such a special way to start the day.

Always a great way to get the school year started.

We are absolutely blown away by the generosity of our community! These are all of the items that were delivered TODAY for our Kids Who Care Hygiene Kit Drive!

Every toothbrush, pillowcase, hygiene product, hairbrush, and donation will go directly toward helping students in our community. We are only on Day 2, and the support has already been incredible!

As Helen Keller said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

And our community is proving just how true that is. THANK YOU to everyone who has donated, shared our posts, and helped spread the word. Together, we are making a difference!

One of our favorite projects each year is creating care packages for students in our schools and children in our community who may be in need. Our Kids Who Care students work hard to collect, organize, and assemble these special packages, and we would love your help!

We have created our annual Amazon Wishlist with items needed to make this project a success. Every donation, big or small, helps us provide comfort, support, and encouragement to local children.

Save the meeting dates below and join the kindness movement at Wagar Middle School! 💚 We have some great outreach projects planned this year, and we can’t wait to continue loving on our community, fellow students, teachers, and support staff!

Our annual Kids Who Care Assembly was so much fun this year! We recognized so many amazing students who participated in our annual fundraiser, and our top participants even got the chance to silly string our principals. We were also blessed to hear an inspiring message from Pastor Ben Miller, who encouraged students to use their words wisely, choose kindness, and lift each other up.

We are so thankful for our school, our community, and everyone who supports Kids Who Care. What started with just 20 students in 2022 has grown to 120 students in 2026, and it has been incredible to watch the kindness movement continue to grow at Wagar Middle School.

Thank you to everyone who helps make Kids Who Care possible. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!

A huge thank you to Pastor Ben Miller from Kirby Church for joining us at our Kids Who Care Kindness Assembly!

Pastor Ben is a gifted speaker who has a heart for working with young people. He always shares an inspiring message that encourages our students to be kind, look out for one another, and make a positive impact on the world around them.

As someone who grew up in our community, and now serves as the youth pastor at Kirby Church, and is a husband and father, Ben is a wonderful role model for our students. We are also excited for him and his wife, Lanae, as they prepare to welcome their second daughter!

We are so grateful that Pastor Ben takes time out of his busy schedule each year to spend time with our students at Wagar Middle School and help reinforce the importance of kindness, compassion, and community.

We are so blessed to have the opportunity to work alongside such an amazing group of students who truly have a heart for serving others and giving back.

This year, Kids Who Care was able to complete so many incredible projects and support countless individuals and organizations in our community. From helping students in our schools and showing appreciation to our teachers, to supporting police officers, firefighters, families in need, and so many others, our students continually stepped up with kindness, compassion, and a willingness to serve.

What makes this group so special is that our students are always excited to help. They give their time, talents, and energy without hesitation, and it has been amazing to watch the impact they have made throughout the year.

We are also thankful that we are able to celebrate and love on our students at the end of each school year with a few special surprises as a small way of saying thank you for all they do.

Thank you to our students, families, volunteers, and supporters for making this year so successful. We are incredibly grateful for each of you and all that we accomplished together.

Wishing everyone an amazing summer! We can’t wait to see what next school year has in store for Kids Who Care. ❤️
