🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Tunnel Hill is Almost Here — We Still Need Your Help! 🍕🍪

With less than two weeks to go until the Tunnel Hill 100 & 50 Mile Runs on November 14, 2026, the Cape Girardeau Road Runners are making our final preparations for another great year at the aid station with Red Runner Racing!

We still have volunteer shifts available, and we’re also in need of FOOD DONATIONS! If you’ve been thinking about helping out, now is the perfect time to get signed up!

Our aid station plays an important role in helping runners tackle these incredible distances. From providing food and hydration to offering a little encouragement when the miles get tough, our volunteers help make a real difference in the runners’ experience.

🍪 Can’t make it to the race? You can still help! We’re continuing to collect food donations to make sure our aid station is fully stocked and ready for race day. Every contribution, big or small, is appreciated!

🏆 Don’t forget! Both volunteer shifts AND food donations earn points toward CGRR’s annual Volunteer of the Year Award, so this is a great opportunity to add to your cumulative points for the year!

Whether you can work a shift, donate some food, or do both, we’d love your support!

🍕🍪 Tunnel Hill Volunteers & FOOD Donations Needed! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

The Cape Girardeau Road Runners are once again preparing to assist Red Runner Racing at an aid station at the Tunnel Hill 100 & 50 Mile Runs on November 14, 2026, and we need your help to keep the runners fueled and moving!

While we’re still looking for volunteers to help staff the aid station, we especially need FOOD DONATIONS! These runners will be covering some incredible distances, and having a well-stocked aid station with plenty of food, snacks, and other goodies can make a huge difference as they push toward the finish line.

Can’t make it out to volunteer? No problem! Donating food is another great way to contribute and support the runners. Whether you can provide a few items or several, every donation helps us put together a great aid station!

🏆 And remember, both volunteer shifts AND food donations earn points toward CGRR’s annual Volunteer of the Year Award! It’s a great opportunity to add to your cumulative points for the year while supporting one of our biggest volunteer events.

We’d love to see plenty of familiar faces at Tunnel Hill, along with some new ones! Whether you’re donating food, working a shift, or doing both, your help is greatly appreciated.

The Cape Girardeau Road Runners are gearing up for another year of supporting runners at the Tunnel Hill 100 & 50 Mile Runs on November 14, 2026, and we need YOU to help make it happen!

Our aid station is an important stop for runners tackling these incredible distances, and a little encouragement, a friendly face, or something to eat and drink can make all the difference when the miles start adding up!

There are plenty of ways to get involved! Sign up for a volunteer shift (or two!), contribute food or supplies, or do a little of both. Every bit of help goes a long way toward making our aid station a success.

Come join the CGRR crew at Tunnel Hill! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

The Cape Girardeau Road Runners will once again help Red Runner Racing host an aid station at the Tunnel Hill 100/50 Mile Runs on November 14, 2026, and we’re looking for volunteers to help make it a great day for the runners!

Our crew will be there throughout the race helping runners refuel, stay hydrated, and find a little extra motivation as they work toward some pretty incredible goals.

Tunnel Hill is coming — and CGRR will be there! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Each year, the Cape Girardeau Road Runners help assist Red Runner Racing to host an aid station at the Tunnel Hill race series, helping runners take on some pretty incredible goals. This year’s race is November 14, 2026, and we’re getting started on putting together our volunteer crew!

Volunteering at Tunnel Hill is a great way to experience the energy of an ultramarathon while giving back to the running community. We’ll spend the day fueling runners, keeping them fed and hydrated, offering encouragement, and helping them get one step closer to the finish line.

We’ll have several volunteer shifts available throughout the event, so whether you can join us for a few hours, want to stick around for multiple shifts, or even donate food items, we’d love to have you!

What a great race day! So good we even got a rainbow! Thanks so much to all of our participants, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who made today possible! We hope everyone enjoyed their race experience and achieved all of their goals today. The results are posted, so kick back, relax, and bask in that post race glow! 🤩🤘🏅
