Jewish Canton A vibrant Jewish center, that hosts Jewish learning and engagement opportunities, services and luncheons, in a warm and inclusive environment.

Chai Jewish Center is a warm, vibrant, and welcoming community. Families, and individuals from all backgrounds and affiliations come together to explore Jewish themes, participate in activities, and celebrate Shabbat and holidays. A modern, state of the art Mikva will be located at Chai Jewish Center, and will be open for use, G-d willing, in April 2017.

Light candles tonight at 6:06 PM, and tomorrow after 7:04PM.

Tonight begins the final days of a beautiful month filled with Jewish holidays.
Simchat Torah, is the most joyous day on the Jewish calendar. It is taught that the joy we demonstrate—celebrating and dancing with the Torah—carries throughout the year, and is reflected back to us in the year ahead.

Let’s celebrate together! ❤️

Please join us for services and meals over the next two days and especially tomorrow night, Saturday, from 6:00–8:00 PM, for a wonderful **Simchat Torah celebration**!

Happy Sukkot ☀️ ❤️
And they are off!!
Today is the holiday of Sukkot, and a special mitzvah of the holiday is to shake the 4 kinds. The crew is out and about with the mobile sukkah offering people the chance to do this mitzvah.

It rained, and rained, and rained some more! ☔ Over the past 48 hours, the rain barely let up. Thankfully, on the first night of Sukkot, it held off just long enough for us to enjoy Kiddush, Hamotzi, and our first course in the sukkah!
Over the next two days, we enjoyed beautiful holiday services and festive meals, with only a brave few venturing out to eat in the sukkah!
But Sukkot isn't over yet! Our Festival of Rejoicing continues through Friday, and there's still so much to celebrate!
🌿 Wednesday: Stop by the sukkah to shake the Lulav and Etrog and enjoy some delicious holiday treats!
🎉 Saturday Evening at 6 PM: SIMCHAT TORAH CELEBRATION!
Join us for an evening bursting with Jewish joy, tons of delicious deli, L'chaims, and spirited dancing!
Rain or shine, nothing can dampen our Jewish joy! 🎶
