Hello,

My name is _______. I'm 38 years old and I have 3 dogs. Charlie (9 year old Lab Hound), Bella (6 year old Pitbull Blue Heeler), and Pupp (5 year old offspring of Charlie and Bella). I've recently become homeless with my 3 dogs. We currently live in my car. I lost my job of almost 4 years out of the blue when me and about 27 others got laid off out of nowhere. I tried different career opportunities, but I've just had the absolute worst luck. I'll go into more detail about that later if you need me to. I just need some help with getting rid of a terrible flea infestation and possibly some temporary homing for them until I can get somewhat back on my feet. I've had my dogs their entire lives and have NEVER had fleas until now. I've always taken very good care of my babies. It's extremely hard doing any and everything with them constantly with me in that car. I have no safe space for them at the moment and I don't want to lose them. We've been together their entire life. I'm not exactly sure how this stuff works, but anything will help. You can reach out to me here, or my phone number at ###-###-###x.

Please let me know something as soon as possible. With it being this hot, my dogs are absolutely miserable. I just need a safe space for them without having to worry about them having heat stroke or someone calling the police. I'm not sure exactly how this whole thing works but if you're able to help me that would be one of the best things anyone has ever done for me. I don't want to lose them but honestly if I can't find them a safe space I'm going to have to surrender them to a shelter or rescue place..

Another FUN photo shoot at Hollywood Feed1449 Riverstone Parkway in Canton, Ga! Thanks to the staff for hosting! And Miller from Farmina North America was there to share her cute little pup and answer dog food questions!

The staff was gifting customers who visited on Sunday with adorable little bags of sWAG.

Thank you, as always, to the dedicated VOLUNTEERS who show up and get the job done. Setting up, dressing up, handling dogs and taking down in record time!

And a HUGE shout out to these families who allowed us to wrangle their dogs for baseball photos! If you attended , your photos will be sent out tonight! Tuesday evening

💔 We said goodbye to Rose today.

Rose was just a puppy who lost a fight today.

Georgia Dog Advocates wanted desperately to help her, but the reality was devastating. Rose was so incredibly sick that properly treating her, caring for her around the clock, and monitoring her condition was expected to cost thousands of dollars and even then, there was no guarantee she would survive. Her mom made the heart wrenching decision to let her go.

We will never know exactly what happened to Rose.

Her symptoms were heartbreaking and complicated. It was almost as if distemper, a foreign body obstruction, and pneumonia had all come together in one tiny 30 pound body. Her condition continued to deteriorate until she was struggling to breathe. 💔

Rose had not been vaccinated. We can't say that vaccines would have prevented what happened to her. We don't know exactly what caused her illness, and we never will. But we do know that puppies are vulnerable, and vaccinations are one of the most important tools we have to protect them from serious, potentially deadly diseases.

This isn't about pointing fingers at Rose's family. It's about recognizing how quickly things can go terribly wrong with a puppy and how devastating, frightening, and financially overwhelming it can be when these things happen.

By the time a puppy is critically ill, there is usually no easy fix. There may be hospitalization. Oxygen. Imaging. Surgery. Intensive monitoring. Medications. Specialists. Days or weeks of treatment.

And sometimes, despite everything anyone can do... they still die.

Rose deserved better. She deserved more time.

She deserved to grow up. She deserved to know what it felt like to be a happy, healthy dog with a whole life ahead of her.

Run free, sweet Rose. 🌈🐾 We are so sorry we couldn't save you.

Please vaccinate your puppies. Don't wait until they're sick. And please don't assume that because a puppy looks healthy today, everything is okay.
