Our last Senior Olympics was in 2022. We have officially closed down our non profit for this organization. We will leave the page up so everyone can enjoy all the memories over the 15 years of amazing Olympic events.

Here we are, it's 2022, and we hope that everyone is ready to get back into the swing
of things and participate in a modified schedule of events for the 2022 Cherokee
County Senior Olympics!
As you remember, due to the Covid-19 outbreaks in our local area, we had to cancel
the 2020 Cherokee County Senior Olympics events that were scheduled to be held
during April 2020. We didn't take this lightly; the health and safety of all our
participants and volunteers are of the utmost importance.
We were hoping that 2021 would have resulted in an improvement in daily activities
and health concerns; though for many, that wasn't the case and the events for April
2021 had to be cancelled as well.
This year we would like to extend, to our valued members and participants, a waived
registration fee ($12.00). In doing this, all we ask is that you wear one of your
previous CCSO t-shirts (it doesn't matter which year but if you have one with our
Signature Sponsor - Northside Hospital Cherokee, that would be fantastic) at any
events that you attend/participate in.
We will start sign-up at 9:30 a.m. on 29 April 2022 (Friday) and will have 8 sign-up
stations based on age groups (color coded); 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70
74, 75 - 79, 80 - 84, and 85 +. When you sign-up (on-site) your signature will be
your agreement to the Liability Waiver. Our events will begin with the Opening
Ceremony.
Events will consist of Basketball Free Throw, Baggo, Bocce Ball (modified), Frisbee
Golf (modified), 1-Mile Walk, Washers, Hillbilly (Ladder) Golf and ending the day
with the Closing Ceremony.
