This is from BARBARA YODER:
Today at 6 PM is Rosh Hashanah, the beginning of the new civil year for the Jewish people. It is also the Christian new year if we accept that Judaism is the basis of Christianity. It is a critical marker point, a type of crossing over from what was into what will be. We are stepping over a line in the sand. I believe this Rosh Hashanah is extremely significant, seriously so.
We cannot afford to delay any longer. This is the hour to let go of what we know God has already asked us to release, and to make the decisions we know must be made. To hold on, to delay, to compromise—it will be costly. The consequences will be weighty. I must say this with urgency, because I believe it is that critical NOW.
There are things God is calling us to step out of—behaviors that dull us, relationships that compromise us, paradigms that are flawed, and anything that neutralizes who God has created us to be. These must go. This is not the time to hold tightly to what God is asking us to lay down.
The assassination of Charlie Kirk was not only a national tragedy—it was a prophetic alarm to the world. We are at a historic turning point. The question before us is clear: What will we embrace? What will we release? What will we choose?
We must see beyond our cultural, ethnic, racial, personal, emotional, educational etc. or even ecclesiastical lenses. We must see with God’s eyes, kingdom eyes. To miss His perspective in this hour will carry immense consequences. For those who take Him seriously, the cost will still be great, but so will the reward.
We are being called to live for eternity—for eternity has been placed within our hearts. This transcends culture, race, religion, family, and every earthly boundary. It is the Kingdom perspective. Sadly, many still do not grasp it (kingdom mindset—I am first part of the kingdom or nation of God that has both a language and a government that is above my earthly reality)—but those who do will be mobilized like never before. Great change is about to erupt.
This is the birth of the end-time church, the one New Man—the fearless bride who will carry the gospel to the ends of the earth without reservation, without fear of persecution, without hesitation. These are serious days—but they are also glorious days.
We are in the throes of birth. We are trailblazing what we have long prayed and dreamed to see. And those who have eyes to see it will live in the very reality we once only imagined. The time is now. The call is clear. The turning point is here.
