On behalf of the B*K foundation, we would like to congratulate this year’s winner of the Collins Dixon award at Teasley Middle School to Brinlee Puckett!!!!!
Brinlee has earned the 14th iteration of this annual award for the leadership and compassion she has exhibited over her time at TMS, a representation of what the number “5” that adorns the halls of TMS stands for. Collins would be honored to have Brinlee represent him within the Teasley community and as she progresses through life. Brinlee is a leader whose compassion and humility is authentic, which motivates and extends to those that are around her. This encompasses her academics as well as she is a definitive student-athlete. Don’t worry Collins also struggled a touch with math. (Trust me I tried to tutor him) The B*K family is ecstatic that Brinlee is this year’s recipient of the Collins Dixon award and we know that both Coach Puckett and Mrs. Puckett are extremely proud of their daughter. We also cannot thank TMS along with Coach Deaton and Puckett, and the rest of the TMS faculty, for continual recognition of both what Collins meant to the TMS community, but also of those in the present that remind them of my humorous and strong willed younger brother!
