, in conjunction with the Ohio North State Referee Committee and OSSRC, has launched a new initiative to help fill the existing referee gap.

Refereeing can open a lot of doors (not just in your local community), helps you learn the rules of the game, has a professional career pathway if interested in pursuing, and is a great high school/college job. There is a high demand for referees - you'll never be short of work!

Hey Canton Referees!
This is a quick reminder to send in your crew crew photos before 10/3 to be entered into our drawing!
We invite referees on Facebook to spread the word to referees who may not be on Facebook to join our drawing as well!

Canton Referees,
We are for the first time doing a drawing amongst the association membership! We will be selecting three people at random from those who enter. The prize will be a $50 visa gift card to each person who gets selected! The drawing will take place during our last local meeting on October 3rd (even if you can’t make the meeting you can get drawn and receive your gift card via mail).

Here is how you can enter:

Submit a picture of yourself and your referee crew (2 or 3 man) on a Canton association High School game. Send the picture to either our email ([email protected]) or send it to Bobby Johnson via email, text, etc.
When you submit your picture, include your crew members’ names and also include the site of the game and the opponent school (final score optional).

ALL ENTRIES ARE DUE BEFORE 10/3 6:30P! Limit one entry per referee. The person who submits the photo will be entered into the drawing.

EXCLAIMER: Entries will be posted to the page, because we are proud of our referees! Please don’t be shy!!!

Our third local meeting is tonight! It will be held at Diamond Community Park in the main lobby and will begin at 6:30. If you have paid your dues and given Dave your size, you will receive your CSRA T-shirts tonight.

Hey everyone!
Just a quick reminder message from Dave Habib:
If you have not paid your 2021 association dues, please do so soon.
Our dues are $30 and with that you will get 2 CSRA customized T-shirts!
If you are planning to send Jim a check to his home, you can find his address in Arbiter. Other ways to pay is at a local meeting (like the one this Sunday), or if you happen to see Jim you can slide him cash or check.
