Hello everyone! This is the founder of Houston’s Lift Off. Since, I have been hacked I do not have acesss to the Houston’s Lift Off messages or page. I can only post through instagram which is connected to our page! My board members try to keep up with the messages! 💜

🌈 National Rainbow Baby Day 🌈

August 22 is recognized as National Rainbow Baby Day—a day to honor and celebrate all rainbow babies and the hope, love, and light they bring after loss. 💛

This image below is my rainbow, Phoenix. 💛

I found out I was pregnant with Phoenix one week before Houston passed away. Phoenix and Houston would have been 11 months apart.

God and Houston knew I needed light after the storm. Phoenix brought hope, love, and light during one of the darkest seasons of my life. 🌈✨

A rainbow baby does not replace the baby who was lost. Phoenix will always be connected to Houston through love, and Houston will forever be remembered.

Today, we celebrate all rainbow babies, including my rainbow baby, Phoenix, while honoring my sweet Houston and every baby gone too soon. 💙

💜🎄 WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🎄💜

Houston’s Lift Off is getting ready for our 5th Annual NICU Christmas Tree Event, and we are looking for 2–4 amazing volunteers to help make this special day possible! ✨

📅 November 22nd
⏰ 12:00 PM–4:00 PM
📍 The Tremont in Massillon
215 Erie Street, Massillon, Ohio 44646

The Tremont has generously provided space for our organization to bring this special event to life, and we are so incredibly grateful for their support! ❤️

Our volunteers will help with decorating, crafts, setup, cleanup, and most importantly, creating a warm and magical experience for NICU families during the holiday season. 🎄👶💜 We are making 36 NICU Christmas Trees this year! This is to ensure every NICU admission will receive a NICU tree during the month of December!

Every helping hand makes a difference. Together, we can create moments of hope, comfort, joy, and beautiful memories for families who have spent part of their holiday season in the NICU.

Please give a warm welcome to our newest astronaut on board , Caitlyn Casari. I met this former NICU mama at the 2nd Annual Poker Run hosted by our caring friends at Family Pride Rc! 🏍️ It was so wonderful meeting her. She is truly the sweetest. She will be our Volunteer Coordinator. 💫

Caitlyn married her husband, Nick, in September 2024, and together they are raising their sweet son, Jameson, a former 31-week preemie who will be turning TWO this November! 💙 Jameson was born at Aultman and spent 55 days in the NICU.

Caitlyn is a Dover native, a 2020 Dover High School graduate, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Primary Childhood Education from Malone University in December 2025. She currently works full-time as the Assistant Director at Flourish Early Learning Center in New Philadelphia. She and Nick also have two cats, Mickey and Zena! 🐱🐱

Caitlyn’s connection to Houston’s Lift Off is deeply personal. After meeting Ashley at the 2nd Annual Poker Run in June, she knew in her heart that she wanted to make a difference for other NICU families.

During Jameson’s NICU journey, Houston’s Lift Off helped make those difficult days a little brighter through care baskets, Christmas trees, and Cosmic Champions Graduation Bags. ❤️

“HLO truly helped me survive my NICU season… It is so uplifting and encouraging to find people who understand the NICU, and I want to be that person for someone who feels alone in that season of their lives as well.”

Last year in 2025 we were the recipients of The Preemie World Baby Shower! PreemieWorld . PreemieWorld Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2023 and based in Springfield, Virginia. It works to give underserved NICU’s fair access to patient education, advocacy tools, and health data for premature infants 👶 When we were awarded the Preemie World baby shower, I instantly thought we need to host it on Houston’s Heavenly Birthday! 🚀💜 Today, we celebrated Houston’s 11th Heavenly Birthday 🪽 PreemieWorlds partners, Huggies, Mad Hatters, and Prolacta Bioscience helped us provide books, wipes, diapers, and hats for our NICU families. Our friends at bibigo in North Canton provided meals for the NICU staff. Our organization provided sandwiches from Pen-station, chips, and gas gift cards for our NICU families . For a sweet treat Linda Highben provided the best chocolates you will ever taste! Our community is truly amazing. Thank you for helping us celebrate such a special day in the most impactful way 🚀 I spoke with one of the families who was able to utilize a hotel reservation through our Houston’s Landing Program. She said it helped so much because she drives an hour away! This is truly what our mission is about! Also, we were was able to see the RMHC of Northeast Ohio The Ronald McDonald House hospitality cart in action. My heart is full. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to honoring my sweet boy. We are so lucky to have your love, care, and support 🧑‍🚀👶🍼👼🏽
