After reflecting on this years back to school event, we want to take the time to say thank you to all of our volunteers, donors and sponsors. Whether you donated supplies, monetarily, helped pack book bags or served at the event, we genuinely appreciate you choosing to spend your time with Change the Type. We were able to supply 175 students in the Raleigh area with a book bag and school supplies for the upcoming school year.

If you were unable to attend this year, do not worry as next year will be even bigger. We are so grateful for how much our community showed up for us this year and looking forward to year 7! Wishing much success and safety to all students this upcoming school year! 💛📚

Change the Type's 6th Annual Back to School Drive is underway, and we’re collecting supplies to help students start the year strong.
After taking inventory, these are our most needed items:
