Representatives from *POSTCARE*, a new business located in Johnsonville on Hwy. 24 in the same building as Atkins Grocery, were guests at the August 4 regular meeting. Formerly located on Highway 87 in Spout Springs, the business has been around for several years, offering full-service shipping products and services, including mailbox rentals, faxing, scanning, copying, notary and much more.

Thank you to everyone who bought tickets for the Scholarship Raffle and to those who attended the Saturday, July 4 drawing, USA250, and Independence Day celebration. It was fun for all, with face painting and coloring contests for the kids, free hotdogs, and a drawing for over 50 fabulous items. Because of the community's support, the Ruritans were able to give scholarships totaling over $5,000 distributed between 5 local students. Attached are a few photos of the activities and prizes. See captions for more information.
