💚 Wellness Wednesday | Women in Manufacturing Alabama

Listening to Allison Robert Grealis deliver the opening remarks at WiM Summit 2026, these words stayed with me:

“No is a decision. Yes is a responsibility.”

As women in manufacturing, we juggle careers, families, leadership, and countless commitments. Every yes deserves our time and energy—and we deserve to consider whether we have enough to give.

Give yourself permission to pause before answering. Set boundaries. Make room for rest. Choose commitments you can honor without putting your own well-being last.

This Wellness Wednesday, ask yourself: Am I saying yes with intention, or out of obligation? 💚

Today, we celebrate the incredible people who keep manufacturing moving forward — building, creating, innovating, solving problems, and strengthening communities across Alabama and beyond.

We’re especially proud to recognize the women who are making their mark in manufacturing every single day — from the production floor to engineering, skilled trades, operations, leadership, technology, and beyond.

Manufacturing is more than what we make. It’s the people who make it possible.

On Manufacturing Day, we celebrate the women already leading the way while encouraging the next generation to discover the opportunities waiting for them in this industry.

Here’s to building the future — together.

Wellness Wednesday 💚

Today is the final day of Su***de Prevention Month, but caring for one another doesn’t end when September does.

Sometimes the person who looks the strongest is carrying something no one else can see. Take time today to check on your people—and really listen to the answer.

A text. A phone call. Sitting beside someone. Asking, “Are you really okay?” Those small moments of connection can matter more than we realize.

At Women in Manufacturing Alabama, we want every woman—and every person in our workplaces and communities—to know:

You matter.
Your life matters.
Asking for help is a sign of strength.
And you do not have to face a difficult season alone.

Let’s carry the message of Su***de Prevention Month with us beyond September. 💚

If you or someone you know needs immediate emotional support, call or text 988.

MOTIVATION MONDAY | SHE’S JUGGLING IT ALL. 💪🏼

Being a woman in manufacturing isn’t always easy.

Being a mom and a woman in manufacturing? That’s a whole different level of juggling.

The early mornings.
The long days.
The deadlines.
The production schedules.
The meetings.
The responsibilities at home.
The moments of wondering if you’re giving enough in every place that needs you.

But here’s the thing: you don’t have to be perfect to be powerful.

Every day, women in manufacturing show up, solve problems, lead teams, build products, make decisions, support their families, mentor others, and keep moving forward.

To the mom working the floor.
To the woman leading the team.
To the one learning a new skill.
To the one balancing a career and a family.
To the woman who is exhausted but keeps showing up anyway…

We see you. We appreciate you. And we’re proud of you. 💚

Keep showing up. Keep growing. Keep leading.
You belong here.
