💚 June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

At Women in Manufacturing Alabama, we believe that strong workplaces are built on healthy people.

This month, we recognize the importance of men’s mental health and encourage open conversations, understanding, and support both on and off the job. Manufacturing can be demanding, and mental wellness deserves the same attention as physical safety.

Remember:
🔹 It’s okay to ask for help
🔹 Mental health is health
🔹 Checking in can make a difference
🔹 Seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness
🔹 No one should face challenges alone

Together, we can help create a culture where everyone feels supported, valued, and empowered to prioritize their well-being.

☕🧠 Thank you to everyone who joined WiM Alabama for our June Coffee & Conversations session, Mind Matters: Check In On Your Mental Health, with Sue Carson of Next Mission Coaching.

Sue reminded us that while manufacturing depends on safety checks, quality checks, and inspections, we often forget to check in on ourselves. She shared practical tools to recognize the warning signs of burnout, conduct a personal “dashboard check,” and use the S.T.O.P. Framework:

✨ Slow Down
✨ Take Inventory
✨ Observe
✨ Proceed Intentionally

Attendees also explored what fuels their energy, what drains it, and how small intentional actions can help build resilience before burnout takes hold.

Thank you, Sue, for an impactful conversation and actionable reminders to prioritize our mental well-being.
