C***r AND MEAD! Yes, that’s right: Starrlight Mead and C***r is the oldest meadery in North Carolina, established in 2010. Three years ago, they purchased the c***r company next door to them in Pittsboro at The Plant and started making c***r alongside their extensive mead collection. They are happy to help you find your new beverage and have introduced so many folks to the creative possibilities of mead.

Hello Charlotte!! If you’ve missed Jay since the Red Clay tasting room on Clanton Road closed last summer, come on over to Moore County next Saturday for the Bloomtime C***rfest at James Creek C***r House and Orchards.

Jay will be here pouring samples and selling cans of Red Clay c***r. I don’t know whether he’ll have any of those crazy-popular fruit crumble c***rs, but I’d bet he’ll have semi-dry Queen City Common and semi-sweet The South End and maybe even some Cherry Bobbin’ Trolls or other specialty fruit c***rs. So come say, “hello” to Red Clay C***rworks and raise a glass to the new season.

Join us at James Creek C***r House and walk through the orchards of blooming peach, pear, and apple trees.

This unprecedented opportunity has 15 c***ries, wineries and meaderies, all members of the non-profit NC C***r Association, joining together and pouring samples at the BLOOMTIME CIDERFEST on Saturday, March 14, at James Creek C***r House & Orchards in Cameron, NC.

A limited number of VIP tickets are still available and provide early entry to the festival at noon with a branded taster glass and access to the VIP lounge in the James Creek tasting room with exclusive c***rs and complimentary charcuterie. General admission tickets are also available at Eventbrite (see link in bio) and provide a branded taster glass and opportunity to sample c***rs from 15 NC c***ries (and Railhouse Brewery), live music by Wh***ey Pines and by Chip Perry, and food vendors with BBQ, oysters, gourmet cheese and cured meats.
