The Rural Access to Dermatology Society is simultaneously collecting abstracts for two upcoming events: Our 1st Annual Meeting in St. Louis, MO on August 29th and our 2nd Annual Virtual Research Symposium on September 19th.

During the Red Hills Festival in Louisville, MS on May 9th, Dr. Adam Byrd and his team at the University of Mississippi Medical Center-Louisville provided 69 free skin health screenings to community members and distributed sun safety information to everyone who stopped by. During the Community Health Day in Cambridge, OH on May 2nd, Dr. Susan Massick and Dr. Natalie Spaccarelli provided 68 free skin health screenings to community members and distributed sun safety information to everyone who stopped by. Project RAD was proud to partner with this outstanding team!

We would also like to thank Dr. Johnny Barba for hosting the grand opening of a new shade structure at his hometown park and his dedication to helping organize such a successful event!

Are you hitting it out of the park with your research? RADS is scouting for 4 RAD Scholars to join our starting lineup at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on August 29th!

We’re Focusing Our Lens on Mobile Rural Dermatology:
Whether you’re tackling access-to-care hurdles, diagnosing in underserved regions, or innovating teledermatology, we want to see your field work on the big screen.

The Game Plan:
4 selected RAD Scholars will orally present their findings at the home of the Cardinals on August 29th. We’re covering your bases with a $500 travel stipend for each RAD Scholar.
