Reporter Shylin Costello visited our grounds here in Cambridge, Ohio, this past Monday to preview our upcoming season, which begins Friday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m. Her piece will be about the organization, an inside look on our ministry, and the 2026 Season.

Owned by Marquee Broadcasting, it is the primary commercial television station serving Muskingum County and the surrounding southeastern Ohio region. Fox 5 Zanesville (18.2) is also a part of the WHIZ Media Group and will air the piece on The Living Word.

A WEEK AWAY 🙌

As we draw closer to a new season here at The Living Word Outdoor Drama, we want to remind everyone that Jesus Loves You! You will witness God's love for humanity via Ohio's ONLY Outdoor Passion Play. You'll see Jesus' life and miracles depicted over the course of a two and a half-hour drama. Our 400-foot historic, panoramic set is breathtaking and it leaves visitors moved with what they see upon visiting our amphitheatre. We are so blessed to have the volunteer actors and actresses that we do and they can't wait to see your smiling faces and share The Gospel of Jesus Christ with you. Our ministry here in Cambridge, Ohio, is special.

WE NOW HAVE CONN'S ❤️

The Living Word Outdoor Drama always does its best to support Christian businesses and organizations. Executive Director Heath Dawson recently discussed carrying Conn's Potato Chips this Summer in TLW's Concession Stand with co-owner Tom George, who attends Bird's Run Community Church with his family. He put Heath in touch with Sales Rep. Mike Seley, who quickly worked up a great contract for the organization. We can proudly say that we will now carry Conn's Potato Chips ... and beef sticks ... in our concession stand this season. Yummy!!! 🙌

THERE'S BEAUTY IN THE UPPER ROOM

It seems like everywhere you look here at The Living Word Outdoor Drama ... There is beauty!!! A few of us have been here one season and a few of us have been here all 52 seasons. Most have us fall somewhere in between. BUT, there is one guarantee, you will never truly be able to capture ALL the glorious handiwork of God no matter how many photos you take. As our Executive Director (Heath), I've tried. Haha. It's why we encourage everyone who visits to take tons of photos and share them all over Social Media. Every week, someone captures something so magnificently different and breathtaking. This place is so holy & glorious. Taking photos of our historic set and landscaped grounds will never get old.

This photo today was going to be centered on The Dr. Joseph T. Fanti Memorial Garden that Muadie Fanti and Shana Wilson recently planted. It looks amazing. But, peeking in the background was The Upper Room. And while looking at the flowers and The Upper Room simultaneously ... I was reminded of the beauty of The Upper Room. In Matthew 26:17-30, Mark 14:12-21, Luke 22:7-13 and John 3:21-30 ... Jesus shares a meal with His disciples. He tells them in Verse 28 in the Matthew passage ... "This is my blood, and with it God makes his agreement with you. It will be pored out, so that many people will have their sins forgiven." Hallelujah!!!!!!! There's such beauty in The Upper Room and we can't wait to share The Gospel of Jesus Christ with you this Summer here in Cambridge, Ohio, via Ohio's ONLY Outdoor Passion Play.

JOIN US THIS SUMMER/FALL

We are officially two weeks away from beginning our 2026 Season here at The Living Word Outdoor Drama in Cambridge, Ohio. It's remarkable that it's the 52nd Anniversary of Ohio's ONLY Outdoor Passion Play. It's an amazing ministry that you'll NEVER forget.

There are 14 opportunities to witness The Living Word this year - June 19 & 26; July 10, 17, 24 & 31; August 7, 14, 21 & 28; September 11, 18 & 25; and October 2.

All shows are on Fridays at 7:30 p.m. Doors and The Box Office open at 6 p.m. and tickets are always available, with seating being General Admission. We do have handicapped/special needs seating available, including a facility & pavilion for those guests. Remember, discounts can only be provided at The Box Office.

A Behind The Scenes Tour is available by donation at 6:30 and a Front Seat Tour (from your seats) begins at 7. The drama is approximately two and a half hours, with it ending a little after 10 p.m. We do have a Concession Stand with various food and beverage options (it opens at 6 also). The Gift Shop opens around 6:30 p.m.

We also offer a unique opportunity to participate in the drama. We ask all extra volunteers to be here by 6:45 p.m. and check in with staff at The Box Office window if you'd like to participate.

WE'RE GETTING CLOSER ❤️

The 2026 Season of The Living Word Outdoor Drama is just a little over two weeks away. Preparations have been under way now for a few weeks as the organization is excited to present the 52nd year of Ohio's ONLY Outdoor Passion Play to our guests. 🙌

Today, we hosted a Work Day and all of the flower beds have been mulched and The Welcome Center Circle has been painted. (Stay tuned for incredible news on that project in the coming days). God is sooooo good.
