private message anything that you would change about the PTA. We need your concerns feedback and suggestions of anything we can do that would help you or make a change. Attendance matters and it can also earn some exciting rewards this year! The SCCSD Positive Behavior Support Club is sponsoring a perfect attendance incentive again this school year. Check out the flyer for all of the details. Be at school on time each day and you'll be eligible for some cool prizes. Good luck to all of our "pawsome" students!

Sharing the district's previous One-Call regarding bus routes. There are several transportation changes for the start of the year. Parents, check your focus account to confirm bus number and bus stop times prior to tomorrow...

Please be advised that updated bus route and details for transportation changes for your student are now available online. You can view your student’s specific routing information by logging into your school Focus account and navigating to the transportation tab. If you need to make changes to their scheduled transportation or have any questions, please call the school office at 814-754-5021

Reminder: There is a Shade School Board Meeting tonight at 7:00pm in the HS library.

The previous automated message from the school said that the school board will be discussing elimination of an elementary teaching position, librarian, and the elimination of all business and computer courses at the high school.

As a group our Shade PTA feels strongly about advocating for what is in the best interest of our district students. A few of our members have gotten on the agenda to speak about eliminating those positions. If you want to share your thoughts with us before tonight's meeting, please use FB messenger. We may even be able to include some valuable community feedback as we address the issue.
