Yes, our blooms came a bit early this year (usually not until the first week of July). It's a great time to visit (even if you have to walk around our construction area)!

Friday was a very awesome volunteer day, with more than 300 perennials and rose bushes planted! We also gave some history of the Remember Me Rose Garden and what we’re up to this year, the 25th Anniversary of 9/11.

Tremendous kudos to volunteers from S&T Bank, Weeders & Seeders Garden Club of Ligonier, Somerset Trust Company, and Highmark, along with several of our Board Members and “regulars!” Thanks also to those who contributed to the collection of photos of everybody hard at work – with special thanks to Heidi Pane!

More volunteer days to come this summer as we prepare for upcoming events!

***VOLUNTEER DAY on Friday, June 12***
It's almost time to plant perennials (more than 300 of them), and we could use some help! We've scheduled a Volunteer Day on Friday, June 12, so please come if you're able to help! We'll start at 9:00am! Please bring gloves and a shovel (if you have one). Lunch will be served!

We had another productive day installing our new automated irrigation system, a new electrical system, and a Psalm 23 plaque near the Kavod Garden! Huge thanks to all the committed volunteers who made it happen! We'll finish the work next Thursday and then plant 300+ perennials the following week!
