Lions Chicken BBQ today at noon. Chicken only, or a dinner with bean, coleslaw and roll. Stop by and eat with us or take it to go and eat at home. Some of the best in the county (comments given to us). We have a coverd pavillion to eat.

We had a great Spagetti Dinner last night. It was prepared and served by the Somerset County Special Olympics. They did a great job and everyone enjoyed their meal. Thanks goes out to them.
They are one of the groups we support as Stoystown Lions.

We had a great Rib Dinner with the Somerset County Band and a concert from Whitehorse. They were dancing in the streets. Tomorrow night is a Spagetti Dinner. Come on out a join in the fun. 162 tractors on the grounds, and some pretty interesting one. Vendors galore with a Blacksmith and Wood Carver.

I predict the rain will stop before Thursday, so come out a visit us. We've added more entertainment for the kids and more vendors for Mom and Pop to shop. Of course all the good food including a Rib Dinner Friday, Spagetti on Saturday and our BBQ Chicken for Sunday Dinner.

25th Annual Tractor Festival
Will it's almost here. Next Thrusday the events begin. The Kitchen opens at 4 PM with a Tractor Parade at 4:30. Then at 6:00 PM the Dead Weight Pulls begin. I'll post the menu here again. Please feel free to like and share with your friends.

Lions Tractor Show is just around the corner. Come and join us anytime over our 4 day event. We have more vendors this year than ever before. We have new entertainment for the kids and lots of tractors to view. We offer good food, soft freeze and some great dinners on Friday and Saturday nights....oh and don't forget our famous BBQ chicken at noon on Sunday. Meet old friends and make new ones. We're always looking for new members that want to give back to our community. See ya soon !

As I had over the gavel to our new president, Don Wildenmann (right), I would like to thank our community for the support we received. We were able to donate well over $12,000 to various charities and organizations in and around our community. The Stoystown Lions have been supporting this community for over 79 years. Again Thank You.

Our "Student of the Month" was Kylee Cramer. Throughout her senior year at North Star she was Secretary of Pep Club. She was also part of the prom and homecoming committees. She participated in ski club, and was a member of the North Star Youth Outreach.
She graduated in the top 10 with a 4.0 GPA while being a member of National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta, as well as graduating with 19 transferable college credits.
She will be attending Slippery Rock University to pursue her goal of becoming an Elementary and Special Education Teacher. She hopes eventually join a sorority.
She is excited for what’s ahead and looks forward to continuing to work hard and give back to her community.
Her great grandfather, the late Bob Darr, who was a 50 year member of the Stoystown Lions Club.
