Windber Public Library Windber Public Library serves Windber Borough and surrounding communities. The library is only able to accept cash or checks. Thank you, Mgmt.

Your local public library has an abundance of services to provide for you, such as Storytime,and access to information through various mediums and available in various forms. We started in 1916 and in 1967 we relocated to the town's train station. It was a small space so years later in 2000 we were moved to the current location, an old school, in your neighborhood.

Local Authors Invited to Share Their Books with Windber Public Library

The Windber Public Library is inviting authors who are natives of Windber, Pennsylvania, to share their published works with the local community.

If you are a Windber native who has authored or co-authored a book, the library would be pleased to receive a copy for consideration for its collection. Authors are also welcome to contact the library with information about their books, including titles, publication details, and a brief description.

The library hopes to highlight the accomplishments and literary works of people who have roots in the Windber community and help preserve their contributions for future generations.
