What a blessing to have such awesome ministry partners! Buist Community Assistance Center had an abundance of mangos that they graciously shared with us! Then our very skilled Congolese mango peelers and cutters from Senior Neighbors came over and helped us get them all ready for freeze drying! Then Sunday Morning the Mango were all freeze dried and ready to leave for Haiti with Purposeful Pathways! It truly takes a village to feed a village! It was a beautiful week of Mangos and working together! They are delicious and will be a delicious treat!

A BIG shout-out to the amazing volunteers behind the scenes!

These are some of the wonderful ladies who spend their time working in our clean room—sorting, organizing, cleaning, and preparing donations so they can make their way to the neighbors we serve.

So much of what happens at our pantry happens behind the scenes, and it simply would not be possible without volunteers who are willing to show up, roll up their sleeves, and give their time. We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you!

But our volunteers aren’t the only ones who make this possible…

This Saturday, August 15, your $10 Simply Give donation at Hudsonville Meijer or Grandville Meijer becomes $30 for Buist Community Assistance Center! 🙌!

Meijer will double your donation by adding $20, helping us provide even more food for families in our community.

Double Match Day is this weekend! We are partnering with Meijer now through September! Please grab a Simply Give donation card at checkout on August 15th and Meijer will double your gift to BCAC! If you donate $10, then Meijer will donate $20 on August 15th! This is a total of $30 that will help our neighbors at BCAC!

What a wonderful day celebrating our community! 🎉

We were honored to participate in this year’s Byron Days Parade and share the mission of our food pantry. Every smile, wave, and conversation reminded us that a strong community is built when neighbors care for one another.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the parade. Together, we can continue making sure our neighbors have access to free food, clothing, and hope.
