Organic never goes out of season for us!🐓 🌾 🫛

The national Transition to Organic Partnership Program just concluded, but you can still find help in starting organic production. ATTRA Weekly Harvest reports this week that Arizona State University Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems is starting a new, nationwide organic mentorship program called Kernel. Regional program partners are recruiting experienced organic mentors and new organic producers to participate.

Our friends at SARE released an updated second edition of "Cover Crops: Improving Soil Health, Stewardship and Profitability on the Farm" that has new chapters on using cover crops in grazing, horticulture, and organic systems. It shares the stories of 12 farmers using cover crops with grain, vegetables, and livestock.
