Did you make it to our last Serata? What a night!!! Anthony D'Aquino was honored as our 2025-26 person of the year, Johanna Green shared details of our next trip to Italy, and Bruno Sozio shared the story of his father's journey on the Andrea Doria, along with John Moyer who is leading the salvage expedition. Oh, and we took a moment to celebrate Halloween...
We're taking a break over the upcoming holidays but will be back in January - hope to see you then!

Tomorrow, August 15th, we celebrate Ferragosto - a day when many Italians head to the beach or mountains, businesses often close & life slows down. It's a great time to gather family & friends, enjoy good food and embrace the joy of summer. We hope you'll share our culture and the art of 'la dolce vita'!!!

The final match of our Women's Bocce league was played last Sunday, July 12th, with Lucia Cipriano and Colleen Gray of Team Pancotto playing Carmela De Cristofaro and Anna De Cristofaro of Team Pasta e Ceci.

Team Pancotto came ahead as the winners, for the second year in a row!

It was decided that this year the winners for the Women and the Men's Bocce League will be recognized at the Amici's September Serata dinner meeting - we hope you'll join us then to cheer for them.

The Women will also have a cookout later this month, just to celebrate the end the tournament and a great 2026 season!
