The Officers and Executive Board of FOP Lodge #63 proudly recognize Brother Jordan Gorleski for his incredible accomplishment of completing the IRONMAN 70.3 Eagleman this past Sunday in Cambridge, Maryland.
This grueling triathlon consisted of a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, and 13.1-mile run, demanding an extraordinary level of dedication, discipline, perseverance, and both physical and mental toughness.
Brother Gorleski faced challenging conditions throughout the race, battling river currents during the swim, pushing through brutal headwinds exceeding 20 mph on the bike course, and competing in oppressive heat with a heat index reaching 92-94 degrees.
Despite these obstacles, he persevered and crossed the finish line, achieving what he described as a truly life-changing moment.
Jordan’s accomplishment serves as a reminder that determination and resilience can overcome even the toughest challenges.
