Burbank Neighbors had a great time celebrating Earth Day at McCambridge Park! The community came together for a day filled with sustainability, creativity, and hands‑on learning. Families enjoyed eco‑crafts, live music, food trucks, and the always‑popular Bike Obstacle Course. Local organizations shared tips on conservation, recycling, water stewardship, and greener living. The Community Share Fair encouraged reuse and giving, while the Tree City USA ceremony highlighted Burbank’s commitment to urban forestry. It was a joyful, educational day that showcased how our city continues to rise together for a healthier planet.
This year’s event also featured incredible wildlife education from the Stough Canyon Nature Center, where visitors got an up‑close look at native species — including the beautiful owl in your photo. Kids and adults were captivated by the chance to learn about local habitats, trail programs, and how to protect the wildlife that shares our foothills. It added a magical, memorable touch to an already inspiring day.
