The Friends of the DFCC consists of a group of very dedicated volunteers who help support the philanthropic efforts on behalf of the Disney Family Cancer Center at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Our goal is to convey the important work and mission of the Disney Family Cancer Center to friends, family, prospective individuals or organizations within our community of Los Angeles and beyond,

by building and maintaining a community dedicated to creating happier and healthier lives for all. We provide a viable environment for passionate volunteer leaders to actively participate in educational, fundraising, social and community outreach events and special patient engagement opportunities.

Our dear friend, Ryan Kuper, lost his heroic fight to cancer this morning. He truly was our inspiration and an example of how to do good in the world. His positive outlook on life and living with cancer has left an indelible mark on each of us. We send our love to his beautiful wife, Michelle, his family and friends. We are deeply saddened by his loss.
