Join us for a fun day of hands-on synth exploration at with .la and ! Whether you’re new to synths or a seasoned pro, Sonic Sandbox is designed to make the world of synthesis more approachable and playful. This is an inclusive event for women, gender-expansive people, and anyone who wants to learn about synths in a safe and welcoming environment. Dive into two interactive workshops-covering everything from Ableton’s built-in devices using Push 3, to hardware and modular synths. Then touch some cool gear at our “petting zoo,” featuring Ableton Push 3, Move, hardware synths, and a hybrid rig.

Sandunes, or Sanaya Ardeshir (she/her), is an Indian music producer, composer, and performer. Like her naturally occurring namesake, her world of sound is in constant evolution - ranging from experimental piano music, acoustic-electronic dance music, to experiments in pop, field recordings and synthesis. She is also an Ableton Certified Trainer.
