Kusewera We empower and educate children through our active and creative play programs. Our community center is in Malawi, Africa.

We offer free kindergarten in the mornings and after school programs to primary and secondary school children in the afternoons.

Kusewera is proud to welcome our newest Malawi Board Chair, Edwin Henry Banda. With more than two decades of leadership experience in business, marketing, and sales, Edwin has held key roles at MultiChoice, Wananchi, and TNM. He is the founder of EHB Holdings—comprising EHB Investments and EHB Supplies in Malawi and South Africa—and serves as Director at Astride Investments.

Edwin is a dedicated supporter of Kusewera, consistently championing our work and our community driven mission. His leadership, marketing acumen, and forward thinking approach to fundraising will help propel our programs and growth in the years ahead.

Our Women’s Village Savings and Loan and Entrepreneurship Group got new chitenji wraps with the Kusewera logo on them and a tshirt.

“When you came and saw that we don’t have a uniform [for our group] you heard our plea to give us one. Don’t stop here, you should do this for other people too. Thank you.” (When others come as consistently as they do, they’ll get a shirt and Kusewera chitenji too😉).

What a great night for our first fundraising event in Malawi! Lots of funds raised, great people, atmosphere was a vibe with delicious food and drinks hosted by RIVVA Grill • Lounge, jazzy cool music by Maggie Kadrum. We had so many silent auction items for bidding (new thing for Malawi!!) and a KC Current Temwa TC6 Chawinga signed jersey in a live audition. Thank you to all who supported, volunteers who helped and made this such a great night.
