Pepperā€™s babies have stolen my heart. Thatā€™s it. Iā€™m toast. I will keep them all and have to get a divorce and move into the guesthouse. Thatā€™s fine. Theyā€™re worth it. Anyone want to save me from myself and adopt these cuties? Or mama Pepper? ā¤ļøšŸ¾

Whatā€™s fostering like, you ask? Itā€™s pure magic. Pepper is the most perfect example. She came in completely shut down, terrified, unsocialised, and with no idea what is going on.

It took a while. First there was eye contact. Then getting up when I walked in. Then just a flicker of a tail wag. It might just be the best feeling in the world. To see her completely come out of her shell and learn that the world is beautiful and safe. To learn to play, trust, love. Learn how to be friends with other dogs and cats, walk on a leash, relax and just explore.

Fostering a puppy involves plenty of firsts as well, but fostering a mama? Thereā€™s an entire level of healing that, somehow, heals you in the process, too. ā¤ļøšŸ¾

Our sweet Skid Row bottle babies are READY FOR YOU! These cuties are 11 weeks old, love everyone theyā€™ve ever met, and will be large breed pups - probably around 50-60lbs.
