This Tuesday, Creators Society celebrated our 11 Year Anniversary, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate than surrounded by this incredible community.

Thank you to everyone who came out, shared stories, made new connections, and helped make the evening so special. It’s amazing to look back at everything we’ve built together over the past 11 years, and even more exciting to think about what’s still ahead.

Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or just joined recently, thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to another year of supporting, inspiring, and creating together.

What a fantastic evening at our Animation vs. Live Action: The Composer Perspective panel!

A huge thank you to Matt Novack for sharing stories and insights from his incredible 20-year career, spanning both live action comedies and acclaimed animated productions like Harley Quinn, Helluva Boss, Scooby-Doo: Where Are You Now!, and Space Chimps. It was fascinating to hear how the creative process, collaboration, production workflows, and storytelling differ between composing for animation and live action.

Thank you as well to Jason Poss for guiding such an engaging conversation and asking thoughtful questions that gave everyone a deeper look into the craft of composing for both mediums.

We’re so grateful to Matt, Jason, and everyone who joined us for another inspiring night of learning, networking, and celebrating the art of animation. Register Now! Join us for a Q&A with Producer Jed Schlanger. Jed worked at Dreamworks Animation for 19 years before joining Netflix to team with Chris Williams on his epic film The Sea Beast. After an Oscar nomination, Chris and Jed are working on a bold new fantasy film at Netflix.
