The hills of Tyler Park are behind us, and the summer sun is calling! It’s time to trade your running shoes for flip-flops at the 2026 BCRR Spring Fling & Awards Celebration.

This isn't just a club meeting—it’s a massive social bash for our entire BCRR family. Whether you crushed the Winter Series or just love the social side of the pack, this party is for you!

The Backyard Bash of the Year
We’re heading back to Johnny King-Marino’s for an afternoon of sun, food, and community:

Heated Pool & Lounging: The pool is open and heated to perfection! Bring the kids, your swimwear, and a towel.

The Cookout: We’re firing up the grill with burgers and plenty of hot food. We'll have cold drinks flowing all afternoon.

Music & Relaxation: Grab your favorite lawn chair, kick back to the music, and catch up with friends beyond the finish line.

It’s time to honor our Winter Warriors. We’ll be presenting the prestigious age-group hardware to our top finishers. Come out to cheer for your friends and celebrate everyone who braved the cold!

Get ready to light up the night!

We are celebrating a decade of racing with a bold new look and a breathtaking new location. The race you’ve known and loved for years—the BCRR Break-Fast/Let's Be Frank 5K—is officially entering its 10th year as the BCRR TWILIGHT 5K!

We’ve moved to the stunning Peace Valley Park, a Bucks County treasure, to give our runners and walkers an unforgettable evening experience. Best of all, we are continuing our tradition of supporting the Peace Valley Nature Center, so your miles directly benefit our local environment.

6:30 PM | BCRR Twilight 5KThe Course: Prepare for a PR! This is a lightning-fast, point-to-point, net downhill course.

The Experience: Start at the dam and fly through the park, finishing at the Nature Center.

The Perk: Don't worry about the distance—we provide bus transportation back to your car.🚶

6:00 PM | Twilight Nature Walk (NEW for 2026!)

The Course: A scenic 2-mile trail walk starting and finishing at the Nature Center.

The Experience: Perfect for those who want to soak in the serene beauty of the park at dusk.

The 14TH Annual Bookin' for Lookin' 5K & Walk is this Sunday!

Don't miss out on this local favorite. The Bookin' for Lookin' Race for Sight 5K Run/Walk is an annual event held in Newtown, Pennsylvania. This race serves as part of the Bucks 5K Series and marks its 14th year of operation. The event is open to participants of all ages who wish to run or walk the designated distance.

The course for the 5K event begins at Council Rock North High School, located at 62 Swamp Road. From the school, the route loops through the natural landscapes of Tyler State Park. This setting provides a scenic environment for both competitive runners and casual walkers.

Participants can access several amenities on-site, including a Starbucks coffee bar, music, and snacks. A dedicated photo area is also integrated into the event space for capturing images. Each participant who registers by the deadline receives a race day shirt and a finisher medal. Awards are presented to the top finishers in various age categories.

All proceeds from our race benefit the Bucks County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. This is an amazing organization that helps blind and visually impaired people in Bucks County receive essential services, including specialized eye exams, rehabilitation training, and daily support.

Let’s be honest—we all love the 10 miles down Broad Street, but the real race doesn’t finish at the Navy Yard. It finishes at the BCRR tailgate! If you’re looking for the absolute best way to experience Philly’s most iconic race, you need to be on this bus. This isn't just transportation; it’s a rolling pre-party and the best post-race celebration in the city.

🍔 The Legendary Post-Race Tailgate
This is where the BCRR family truly shines. Once you cross that finish line, don't worry about trekking back to a car or fighting for a spot in a crowded bar. Instead, head straight to our legendary tailgate area!

Our very own Johnny King Marino will be manning the grill, serving up those famous, freshly grilled burgers that taste like pure victory. We’ll have a wide variety of snacks, cold water, and plenty of "adult" beverages to help you toast to your new PR. It’s the perfect time to kick back in your lawn chair, swap race stories, and laugh with the friends.

Yardley is officially SOLD OUT! The response has been incredible, and those seats are gone. However, we still have spots left on the Doylestown bus—but they are disappearing fast.

Early Bird Departure: Because of the new 7:00 AM race start, the buses will depart from the Doylestown Hyde Park office at 4:45 AM sharp.

After a bitter winter spent conquering the frozen hills of Tyler, it’s finally time to welcome the warmth! We are planning one of the club’s favorite traditions: a sun-soaked event at Johnny King-Marino’s place. This isn't just a meeting—it’s a full-blown backyard bash for our runners, our families, and anyone who survived the Winter Series!

🍔 Burgers, Beats, and a Heated Pool!
Get ready for an afternoon where the only "intervals" you’ll be doing are between the grill and the pool. We’ll have the music grooving, a refreshing selection of drinks flowing, and plenty of food served hot off the grill.

Most importantly: The pool is heated! Whether you want to do a victory lap or just lounge in the water with your running buddies, make sure you bring your swimwear and a towel. It’s the perfect way to unwind and let those muscles finally relax in style.

🏆 Celebrating Our Winter Warriors
We are still buzzing from all those who braved the bitter cold of the 2026 Winter Series. We conquered Tyler as individuals, but we’re celebrating as a true BCRR family. During the Fling, we will be presenting the prestigious Winter Series Awards to our top age group finishers. Come cheer for your friends and grab your hardware!

Year after year, BCRR goes all out for this event, and the response has been incredible. The Yardley bus is officially SOLD OUT! If you were planning to leave from Yardley, that ship has sailed—but don't panic just yet. Doylestown tickets are still available... for now!

Are you ready to get a little "looney" in the woods? This Saturday, March 7th, we are kicking off the 14th Annual Looney Leprechaun! This isn't just any run—it’s a Trail Race by Trail Runners, designed by people who know exactly how to make every mile through Tyler State Park an adventure.

Whether you’re flying through the 10k or tackling the legendary Half Marathon, you’ll be treated to the very best trails the park has to offer. Keep your eyes peeled—rumor has it there's a mischievous leprechaun hiding out on the trails, ready to cheer you on (or maybe just check your form!) as you crush those hills!

🙌 Join the Fun: Volunteers Needed!
Not planning to run but still want to be part of the magic? We need volunteers to join in on the fun! It’s our volunteers who make this event possible, and we promise you'll have the best seat in the house. You’ll get to hang out in the beautiful park, help our runners stay on track, and maybe even help the leprechaun hand out some trail luck. It’s a great way to give back and ensure the event runs smoothly and safely for everyone.
