Grace Galloway could have fled the United States with her husband, but instead she stayed behind to fight for her inheritance, Growden Mansion in Bensalem, PA. Her determination and unwavering belief in her own rights helped lay the groundwork for other women to claim the same protections she fought for. Her story reminds us that even in the shadow of revolution, one woman’s courage can change the course of history.
