Learn more about Buckland's weaving legacy and Morris dancing in attached photos.

Tour our museum properties, including the 1775 Saltbox Home, restored 1779 English barn and Shoemaker's Shop.

Save the date for Christmas At The Wilder - November 28, 2026 - 10 am-3 pm. This year's theme is a Stars and Stripes patriotic Christmas as we celebrate our nation's 250th birthday. Plan your holiday shopping at the silent auction of curated local items, gather creative vintage decorating ideas for your own home and take a turn in our festive winter photo booth complete with sleigh! Stay tuned for more details!

TEXTILES are the theme of the Buckland Historical Society Open House this coming Sunday - August 23 - 1:00-4:00 p.m. at both the Wilder Homestead (129 Ashfield Road) and Buckland Museum (20 Upper Street).

There will be historical textiles and clothing featured at both locations. Weaving demonstration and history of Buckland Weavers in the Wilder Barn. Randee Laikind will provide an overview of silk worms and local linens.

Free and open to the public - Donations are most welcome to maintain the properties and collections.
