Woven With Promise Woven with Promise is dedicated to providing free clothing to those in need in an environment of Christ-centered love & grace.

Woven with Promise seeks to honor Christ and offer His hope by serving women and children who are victims of domestic violence and human trafficking including emotional, economic, sexual, and physical abuse and be a support to foster families in a non-judgmental environment by providing clean, gently used clothing at no cost to help as a first step in regaining their dignity and independence. 🌸 THERE IS HOPE WHEN WE WALK TOGETHER 🌸

"She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy."
— Proverbs 31:20

This verse is a beautiful reminder that we are called to notice the needs around us, open our hearts, and extend our hands to others. ❤️

That is at the heart of Woven with Promise.

As we enter this new chapter, our desire is to create a place where women can come when they need hope, encouragement, connection, support, and a reminder that they are not alone.

Sometimes helping someone doesn't mean having all the answers. Sometimes it simply means listening, praying, encouraging, mentoring, sharing a cup of coffee, or walking beside someone through a difficult season.

We believe God is weaving something beautiful through this ministry—and we want women who are hurting, searching, rebuilding, or simply needing community to know:

There is hope.
There is purpose.
There is a place for you.
And you don't have to walk alone. 💕

💕 WE NEED YOUR HELP! WOVEN WITH PROMISE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 💕

Our fundraiser garage sale is just around the corner, and we need some wonderful people willing to roll up their sleeves and help us get ready! 🥰

We have TWO opportunities to help:

📦 Saturday, August 29 | 10:30 AM–1:30 PM
We will be sorting, organizing, and beginning to prepare items for the sale.

🏷️ Wednesday, September 9
We will be organizing, pricing, and getting everything ready for opening day!

Whether you can stay the entire time or only have a couple of hours to give, we would love to have you! Every helping hand makes a difference. ❤️

This garage sale is helping us prepare our new Woven with Promise space and our exciting new mission as a Christian women’s ministry focused on faith, encouragement, connection, mentoring, Bible study, and support.

We’re excited to share that Woven with Promise is evolving into a Christian women’s ministry focused on faith, encouragement, connection, mentoring, Bible study, and supporting women through every season of life. ✨

We’ll continue our Prom Dress Giveaway and Homecoming Dress Giveaway, while launching No Soles Left Behind, providing new shoes to school-aged children in need. 👟❤️

🏡 OUR NEW SPACE IS COMING!

We’re preparing to move into our new home at 1626 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, and we’re hosting a Fundraiser Garage Sale September 10–12 to help prepare and furnish the space.

And we need YOU! 🙌

We’re looking for volunteers to help with sorting, organizing, pricing, setup, decorating, staffing, helping shoppers, and cleanup. Whether you can give a few hours or help behind the scenes, your time can make a difference!

❤️ Happy Independence Day! ❤️

Today we celebrate the blessings of freedom, the courage of those who have served our country, and the hope we have for the future.

As we gather with family and friends, enjoy backyard barbecues, watch fireworks light up the sky, and make cherished memories, may we also pause to give thanks—for the freedoms we enjoy and for the opportunity to love, serve, and encourage one another.

At Woven with Promise, we are especially grateful for the freedom to share hope, extend compassion, and walk alongside women as they rebuild their lives with dignity, purpose, and faith.

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free." — Galatians 5:1

One of the greatest challenges in the Christian life is making sure our actions tell the same story as our words. It’s easy to talk about grace. It’s harder to extend grace when someone hurts us. It’s easy to talk about kindness.

It’s harder to remain kind when we’re frustrated. It’s easy to talk about faith. It’s harder to trust God when life feels uncertain. The goal isn’t perfection. The goal is integrity. To become the same person in private that we are in public.

To allow God’s love to shape not only what we say, but how we live. Because people may forget our words. But they rarely forget the way we made them feel. 💜

June is Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month.

Many survivors of domestic violence experience PTSD -- the hypervigilance, the flashbacks, the difficulty feeling safe even after leaving an abusive situation. Trauma doesn't end when the abuse does, and healing takes time.

ODVN's Just Breathe: A Guide to Wellness was created with input from survivors across Ohio and offers grounding exercises, coping strategies, and practical tools for navigating hard moments.

✨ Exciting Things Are Happening at Woven with Promise! ✨

Over the past several months, we have spent time praying, listening, and seeking God's direction for the future of Woven with Promise. Today, we are excited to share that Woven with Promise is emerging with a whole new look and a renewed mission!

While many of our beloved community outreach events will continue, God is expanding our vision beyond what we've done in the past. Woven with Promise is becoming a Christian women's ministry focused on encouraging, equipping, and serving women through faith, fellowship, mentoring, support programs, Bible studies, and meaningful community connections.

We can't wait to share all the details of this exciting new chapter in the coming weeks!

As we prepare for this next season, we are looking for passionate volunteers to help us plan our inaugural fundraising event:

💎 Woven with Promise Presents: Treasures of Hope 💎
An Evening of Faith, Fellowship & Giving

Theme: "Every Treasure Tells a Story"

This elegant event will celebrate the God-given value, purpose, and stories of women while helping raise funds to support the ministry and outreach programs of Woven with Promise.

Funds raised will help us:
❤️ Provide women's Bible studies and faith-building opportunities
❤️ Develop mentoring and encouragement programs
❤️ Offer widow outreach and support initiatives
❤️ Create community gatherings that foster connection and fellowship
❤️ Continue signature outreach events including:
• Prom Dress Giveaway
• Homecoming Dress Giveaway
• No Soles Left Behind Shoe Giveaway
❤️ Expand partnerships that serve women and families throughout our community

At Woven with Promise, we are so excited for what God is doing — and we want our community to know that this next chapter is coming VERY soon! ❤️

While this season of reorganizing and rebuilding may have felt quiet, God has been working behind the scenes every step of the way. We truly believe He has been preparing something even greater, stronger, and more impactful for the families and individuals we are called to serve.

We cannot wait to reopen our doors as a renewed and refreshed ministry, ready to support our community with love, compassion, dignity, and hope. Thank you for your patience, prayers, and encouragement as we prepare for this exciting new beginning!
