Second Chance Thrift Shop is a mission of Brooks UMC. Open Fridays and Saturdays. We are a boutique thrift shop operated by Brooks United Methodist church.

Proceeds benefit church missions and ministries as well as other local nonprofits who serve our community and surrounding areas. The mission of Second Chance Thrift Shop is to serve the community and to assist in improving family or individual budgets by providing quality used clothing, jewelry, household goods, toys,books, kitchen goods and other items at low prices. All proceeds from sales will benefit local charities and missions of Brooks United Methodist Church.

Weekend of Sept 4 & 5 -We have some beautiful and unique finds waiting for you this week at Second Chance! If you love china and serving pieces, be sure to check out two large sets of china that came in last week. One features a lovely bird and birdhouse design. The other is a collection of Royal Norfolk Autumn Leaves china just in time for the fall. We also have a framed needlepoint landscape, signed black and white prints of the Fayette County Courthouse and Starr's Mill, Oriental-style decorative trays, butterfly wall decor, wind chimes, decorative butterfly and bird houses, a cute Lake House sign, a small side table with drawers. You also have a purple BOGG bag along with our ever-changing selection of women's and men's clothing and more! All Linens are 50%off this week which includes curtains, bedding, pillows, etc.

Second Chance Thrift Shop will be temporarily closed to make needed repairs. We have an antique septic system we can no longer put off replacing. Hopefully, we will be back up and running in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, we will still be available on Mondays to accept donations. If you cannot come on Mondays and need another time, please message us and we will try to accommodate your schedule during this time we are closed. We look forward to seeing you when we reopen!
