🇮🇱 A Week of Simchas & Family in Yerushalayim! 🎉

Baruch Hashem, I’m so grateful to be in Eretz Yisroel celebrating my sister’s beautiful wedding with family! ❤️ The chuppah overlooked the Old City, facing the Beis HaMikdash—truly a breathtaking and unforgettable experience.

💍 The simchas continued the very next night at the wedding of our dear Aliya friend, Nosson Morris! It was such a joy to celebrate together.

🤝 Looking forward to our Aliya Alumni Reunion this Motzaei Shabbos here in Israel!

🙏 A huge thank you to Schneur Baron, Rabbi Nota Shemtov, and Levi Gordon for holding down the fort at Aliya while I’m away. Your dedication and hard work are truly appreciated.

🎉 Yom Tov at Aliya reached a whole new level! From our Bnei Aliya farbrengen and Kingston Avenue dancing to a packed sukkah, delicious food, incredible hakafos, and Rabbi Mendel Kaplan’s heartfelt kumzitz—the joy was overflowing!

❤️ Everyone got an aliyah. Everyone belonged. That’s Aliya.

📚 Baruch Hashem, just two days later, the Aliya Kollel and Bnei Aliya Yeshiva were back in full swing with fresh energy—bringing that inspiration straight into learning and growing!

🔥 The Sukkos simcha at Aliya keeps growing!

🍷 Full houses and beautiful Kiddushim both days of Yom Tov!

🎶 An epic rooftop farbrengen brought Wilkes, Aliya and TAG together, followed by two hours of nonstop dancing with DJ Yossi Maiman—and then more dancing on Kingston Avenue!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Our Aliya families celebrated with a kids-friendly Simchas Beis Hashoeva, sushi, music and dancing. So beautiful watching the next generation join the simcha!

📜 Next up: SHEMINI ATZERES & SIMCHAS TORAH! Two nights of hot buffets and electric hakafos, plus a full day of farbrengens, food and dancing with the Torah!

🔥 What a week at Aliya!

🙏 An unforgettable Yom Kippur! From our fully booked private mikvah and Rebbetzin Feiglin’s homemade pre-fast meal to personal brachos, heartfelt davening, and an electric Ne’ilah. We finished 20 minutes after the fast—and nobody complained!

🎶 Thank you to Aaron Fershman, Rabbi Mendel Kaplan, Rabbi Mendy Zulauf, and Rabbi Shemtov for making it so special!

📖 Our Kollel welcomed Moishe Pinson and Rabbi Uri Perlman for inspiring words of wisdom.

💪 Our Friday tefillin booth keeps bringing new faces into the Aliya family!

🌿 Rabbi Levi Maximov taught the guys how to choose their lulav and esrog, and each boy received his own set as a Yom Tov gift. So grateful we could do this for all our members!

🎉 WHAT A WEEK AT ALIYA! 🎉

🎯 With just minutes remaining, we reached our campaign goal! The energy was incredible, and the guys celebrated with a joyful victory dance. Thank you to everyone who donated, matched, shared, and made calls—every one of you helped us cross the finish line! ❤️

🙏 Today, the Bnei Aliya boys visited the Ohel with a pan containing the names of our donors and matchers, asking for abundant brachos for everyone who helped.

🎂 We also celebrated Rabbi Mendy Beitch’s 40th birthday with a beautiful farbrengen. Many alumni, including some who had not been back in years, returned to celebrate together.

🍎🍯 Now we’re preparing to give the guys a beautiful Rosh Hashanah, with meals at the Feiglin and Shenfeld homes.

🐑🦃🐔 Hands-On Chinuch at Aliya!

This week, the Aliya Kollel and Bnei Aliya experienced the complete shechita process firsthand!

Rabbi Mendel Kaplan came up with the idea, and Rabbi Eliyahu Ezagui—formerly of Aliya’s Kingston Avenue tefillin booth—gave a fascinating class and led the demonstration.

📚 The guys learned about the Torah’s laws of shechita and the tremendous care involved.

🔥 Then came the best part—a delicious barbecue! The lamb was a huge hit, and not a single piece was left!

🌊➡️🔥 Nothing Can Stop the Aliya!

What a week!

🚨 Thursday night’s flash floods caused a major sewer backup, flooding our mikvah and gym.

💪 Our incredible volunteers and boys immediately stepped up. The mikvah reopened before Shabbos, and the gym was dried out and back in action by Monday!

📚 On Tuesday, the Aliya Kollel resumed with Rabbi Mendel Kaplan and an energetic new group of young men. The beautiful sound of Torah is once again filling Aliya!

🎒 On Thursday, Bnei Aliya began its new year! The boys returned energized after an incredible summer in Atlanta with Rabbi Nissen.

🏠 We have also rented an apartment for students who need a safe, supportive place to stay, with new shluchim joining us as dorm counselors.

🚀 Aliya is back—and the energy is exploding!

❤️ On Labor Day, September 7, we will launch our annual Aliya Charity Campaign, giving everyone the opportunity to help our boys grow physically, emotionally and spiritually.

💙 A huge THANK YOU to all our partners, donors and friends who make Aliya possible every single week! This past week went to another level because of YOU.

📯 Elul Tefillin Booth: Tefillin, cold water and now shofar! People stopped, gathered around and listened to the sound of the King in the field.

🌸 A beautiful new connection: A woman came over to hear shofar, told us she runs an organization that gives flowers to people who need a lift, and asked to partner with Aliya. We’re already connecting her with people in the community.

🕯️ In-house Shabbaton: Friday night dinner on the deck, farbrengen, late-night schmoozing, Chassidus, davening and a beautiful kiddush through Havdalah.

🍎 Rosh Hashanah is almost here! Reservations are open, with Aaron Furshtman and Mendel Kaplan helping lead the davening.

🎒 This Shabbos I’ll be upstate fundraising so Bnei Aliya can start the year strong and keep saying YES to every young person who needs us.

🙏 Big thanks to Label Gordon and Mordy Fink for keeping Aliya running strong while I’m away.
