No matter who you are or where you come from, our community speaks with One Voice. This Saturday, Brooklyn Emerge is bringing neighbors together to make sure everyone is supported. 🤝✨

Come by for fresh produce, groceries, and free hot halal meals—completely free, no judgment, and open to all.

To everyone celebrating, we wish you and your loved ones a beautiful and peaceful Eid.

There is a unique kind of warmth that fills our neighborhood when we come together to celebrate, share meals, and look out for one another.

As we mark Eid ul-Adha, we are holding close the values of sacrifice, gratitude, and community care. For us at Brooklyn Emerge, this season is a powerful reminder of why we do this work—to build a space where every neighbor feels seen, valued, and supported.
True community isn't just about living side by side; it’s about showing up for each other in times of joy and times of need.

Brooklyn Emerge continues to serve local families every Saturday with groceries, fresh produce, canned foods, and hot meals for the community.

We truly cannot thank our volunteers enough. Their compassion, consistency, and willingness to serve others are what keep this mission moving forward week after week. Every helping hand makes a meaningful difference for families across Brooklyn.

We are also grateful to Rethink Food for donating hot meals and supporting our community outreach efforts.

CB14 Nonprofit Roundtable brought together nonprofit leaders, community organizations, and civic representatives to discuss collaboration, community support, and local impact initiatives across Brooklyn. The roundtable was conducted by Brooklyn Community Board 14 and also included representatives from the City of New York Government Mayor’s Office of Nonprofit Services.

Brooklyn Emerge was represented by Shabir Ahmad - NYS Licensed Real Estate Agent, who shared insights about the organization’s ongoing community initiatives and services.
During the discussion, he highlighted Brooklyn Emerge’s work in providing hot meals, youth engagement programs, immigration services, voter registration, and voter education efforts aimed at empowering and supporting local communities.

The event created a valuable opportunity for nonprofits to connect, exchange ideas, and strengthen partnerships for greater community impact across Brooklyn.

Brooklyn Emerge was proud to attend “Building Civic Power Across Languages” on May 18, 2026 📍David N. Dinkins Manhattan Municipal Building alongside civic leaders, advocates, and organizations working to strengthen language access and civic participation for immigrant communities.

Representing Brooklyn Emerge, Sahibzada Shabir Ahmad participated in the convening and engaged in important conversations surrounding voter protections, immigrant community outreach, and multilingual civic engagement across New York City.
