Join CHLDC and Citizens for our Financial Empowerment Series workshop, “Shield Your Finances: Practical Tools for Fraud Prevention,” on Wednesday, October 7 at 6 PM.

Learn how to identify common fraud schemes and protect yourself from financial loss. The workshop will be offered in English and Spanish, and childcare and food will be provided! 🍽️👧🏽

What a way to kick off Community Week! 💚

This weekend, Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation came together with our East New York Farms! Project and the East New York Merchants Association for our Rooted in East New York Block Party at the Farmers Market! It was a beautiful day filled with neighbors, families, local vendors, community resources, food, music, and connection—all celebrating the East New York community we are proud to serve. A huge thank you to our partners, staff, programs, Board members, and everyone who came out and helped make the day such a success.

And we’re just getting started! Today officially kicks off Branch Out Week! Throughout the week, CHLDC staff will be out across East New York connecting with residents and sharing information about the many programs, and FREE services, and resources available to our community.

We’re officially one week away! Join us on October 10th at Lower Highland Park for a day of movement, community, and celebration.
